Death Ray is trying to bring his first retail establishment Downtown. Despite flushing $100 MILLION. Walgreen's was not allowed on State St because the DEM morons did not want a drive through. Walgreen's finally said enough with these alleged planners with no credentials and went elsewhere. There are plenty of better Italiano places without this time warp again.

Drive-by's are okay....but a drive through?

The only way people will actually stop and get out of their cars while driving through Downtown is if there's a toll booth in front of Proctors.

I'm sure that's coming.....

A good businessman would NOT have to be a beggar.

A GOOD businessman would NOT get scammed

A GOOD businessman who got scammed would take legal action---wonder why he's not taking any legal action to get stuff back?   Hmmm, interesting.

This is the type of businessman that DV praises?   He praises a beggar, a fool. a liar?

I think RL owes it to his customers, friends, those he's trying to get "donations" from to come clean and open up his books.   But obviously he keeps it secret just like plex and the dems

Wonder how hard Randy & Amanda will be laughing when they're sitting on the beach in Mexico sipping donation-paid fruity drinks.

Such a scam. You'd be an idiot to fall for this.

A good businessman doesn't take taxpayer's money, while the taxpayer is struggling......yes?

Absolutely true.

Now, as far as we know, RL is not getting taxpayer money (thru plex, etc) which is a good thing, but I have to wonder what kind of scam he running, all his announcements, comments that he has learned of "yet another" issue he needs to take up with the city in order to open, etc.   A good and reputable businessman would research everything before they start a project.  Someone with an ounce of business experience, knowledge and sense would plan ahead, ask questions, get all the finances in order and not come up with a "oh we just learned...."      DV claims to be so smart, how come DV is not offering his services, I mean with all the friends DV supposedly has and all his supposed friendships with McC and co, you'd think DV would take RL down to a city council meeting to gripe about all the hurdles.   You'd think the way DV the restaurant and how he claims he and "his family" patronized the place before and he anxiously awaits it's re-opening, you'd think DV would show him the way.

Oh, but we have to remember, DV doesn't know anything about business just like he doesn't know anything about property values and taxes, just like he doesn't know anything about how to support onesself.   Guess that's why he doesn't post on these boards much anymore---we provide the evidence to what we say, he never produces any evidence

1/9/2012
Dolce Vita is moving and plans to reopen in February.   The building that it leased for 3 years is being sold by the owner of the building.

Dolce Vita was always a great restaurant and it will remain so when it reopens in a new location.

1/10/2012 6:29 pm
I look forward to Dolce Vita's reopening in its new location.

1/11/2012  11:53 pm

.... and the owner will be reopening.    ….. -- Dolce Vita is very popular and had many patrons during its regular hours.

Gee, if it’s was so popular, where’s all those patrons coming forth to support it reopening?

1/12/2012  6:01 pm

…..and the restaurant was well patronized.

…..  It is planning to reopen in February in a new location.

.

Well patronized?   If it was so well patronized, where is the support now?

1/12/2012   10:08 pm
Those who ACTUALLY ate at Dolce Vita enjoyed the EXCELLENT food  ….and we look forward to its reopening in its new location.

1/12/2012  10:47 pm

Let's just say that the only information that I am willing to share with you -- is what has been publicly stated by the owner --- they will reopen in February.   Beyond that -- I am not obliged to share any further information with you.

1/12/2012  10:53 pm

"It is none of your business what I know and the information will be made public when the key players choose to make the information public.  In the meantime I will just laugh at you "

He has no other information other than the lies he reads and foolishly believes.   Who’s laughing now?   ROFL

1/13/2012   10:54 pm
The FACT ….  (so ignore the lies of the nayboobs ) and will be reopening in February.

1/14/2012   1:51 pm

Dolce Vita was one of my family's favorite restaurants --- it will be reopening again in a new location ... we will be back.

Mr. Loren managed to hit a home run.

1/15/2012   1:17 pm
The FACT is that the restaurant did NOT fail.   Schenectadians and others loved and supported it.   And we are patiently awaiting its reopening in a new location.

If it was so wonderful, where is the support today?   Why is the owner failing ever.

2/1/2012   11:21 pm
You can be certain that I do support local businesses and will be happy to continue patronizing this specific business when it reopens.  If I have chosen to assist financially -- I  would NOT have done so through an online venue -- my personal business dealings are no ones' business but my own.

DV obviously did NOT assist financially, unless it was a couple pennies.

TRANSLATION: I can make people think I contributed without doing it and these dumbos will believe me.

Right on!   Only WHO is the dumbo????

2/20/2012   2:46 pm

I do my homework …..Mr. Loren will reopen and I will support his new venture and such support will NOT be a matter for the public record.

Except as required MANDATORY FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE per town and state law.   Oh wait, your super there keeps everything a secret from the taxpayers

3/15/2012   3:45 pm
Dolce Vita was a great restaurant.  I remain hopeful that someday it will reopen in another location….    There is really nothing more to add on the subject - so I will no longer comment on this thread.

4/1/2012  2:40 pm

Once again you are the FOOL who is totally wrong.  …...

“..so I will no longer comment….”    Once again DV has proven himself a LIAR

4/1/2012   6:15 pm

Apparently …..

“..so I will no longer comment….”    Once again DV has proven himself a LIAR

4/11/2012   2:44 pm
I wish them well and hope they reopen soon.

4/15/2012  12:47  pm
Personally, I don't think …..

6/27/2012   9:54 pm

And the hypocrites can say what they want now …. --- I look froward to the grand reopening of the establishment and hope that by its success it proves what fools the nayboobs are.

7/31/2012   11:14 pm   (11:14 pm???? Isn’t past the little boy’s bedtime????     )
We are looking forward to Dolce Vita reopening soon.

Can he make up his mind?
"will reopen"
"was"
"hope they reopen"

And of course his BIG BIG LIE LIE LIE LIE LIE.      "so I will no longer comment on this thread"    Just another lie, right DV????????

Well, actually, if he is, and people are scammed, and the AG's office has to investigate/act, I guess our tax dollars don't pay for operations of state government.
