However the Schenectady County Democrapic Party has decided to destroy others' livelihoods and try to financially bankrupt others, but we shall let karma deal with that, b/c karma is the biggest and meanest b**ch of them all... and she bites down hard of people and their families when people try to destroy others. Some folks assume that they know what others know or don't know. And the fact remains that many restaurants do lease or rent equipment otherwise there wouldn't be companies in business renting and leasing restaurant equipment.
And the hypocrites can say what they want now but for months they have been brutally bullying and attempting to tear down a local businessman --- I look froward to the grand reopening of the establishment and hope that by its success it proves what fools the nayboobs are.

Ah, very interesting.
But the FACT is that renting/leasing does really cost way far more than financing. And of course financing costs more than buying outright.
Any intelligent good business person, if he/she doesn't have the money to buy outright (most won't have so much cash) will finance because that will save them a HUGE amount of money over renting/leasing.
But of course, if a business person can't get financing, it's obviously due to poor credit, not paying on time, unpaid bills. And if a business person can't pay their bills, they either need to raise their prices, or they don't have enough customers, or they just should close up.

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
Bottom line here folks is that ALL 'PRIVATELY' FUNDED businesses are feeling the pinch of this crappy economy!! Only the businesses that are supported by the already overburdened taxpayers via METROPLEX/GILLEN are able to keep their heads above water!!
I wish ANYONE who own and operates a business via private funds much success! Unfortunately, in schenectady, the METROPLEX/GILLEN machine has already picked the winners and losers!!! imho

Who cares or actually should?? It's not your (taxpayer's) money! It's PRIVATE monies!!! How they chose to spend it is entirely up to them! If it was taxpayer's money.....then ya got a legitimate bit@h! I hope all businesses that are trying to make it without taxpayer's money SUCCEED!!! And so should everyone else! If this was true, it would make the local news, particularly since he said it's a local business
But then, he says his equipment was in storage?
Why would someone lease equipment and pay for leasing it AND pay for it's storage off-site?
