Oh NO!   Well, it is obvious this is why he doesn't have a successful business.   He is falling for a scam.   That is basically what is known as facebook spam.    It's a swindle.    I wouldn't even click on it, but anyone who does, I GUARANTEE the message will come up that indicates that the app will take your info, your e-mail, the info of your friends, etc.    And your e-mail box will get flooded with new spam.

People with intelligence, education, and business knowledge will stay far away from such scams.
(now we'll see if the FB thing disappears after DV gives RL a heads up because DV knows I am intelligent and know things to be the truth)

Hello Everyone, I Pray all is well, The Carpeting was installed at the NEW DOLCE VITA!!!, IT LOOKS FABULOUS!!!, The place looks larger now the carpeting is in, all that's Left in the main room is the Dance Floor & Bar Top, then.....we move to finish the Kitchen area Next!! and we ARE DONE and ready for Business!!!!!!!!!!!

Kitchen area was the last thing they thought of ???   That's right, dancing first, eating later, that's the way a restaurant should be thinking.

Geeze.

Now remember, they started the "help wanted' a month ago--May 29?   So, since it is clear they are nowhere near ready to open, then they will have to do help wanted again?   Because anyone who applied for a job and let's say were told on June 5 that they got the job, would they be willing to wait six months or more for the place to open?

This so called businessman, puts carpeting down and then looks to create a kitchen?   He doesn't even have the appliances yet?

And now this so-called small businessman has the stupidity to fall for a scam!   Oh my god!    You don't get something for nothing!    Go out and apply for financing the proper way, the way REAL businesses do it.

Does the guy even know that IF he ever get's all the appliances and other stuff in, he's going to have to have the place inspected!

Hey, do you think he has sprinklers in the place?

Does he have a clue about building codes?

Is there a TV show out there called "World's Dumbest Businessman/woman"   ??

Since many restaurants  RENT or LEASE major kitchen equipment, it actually makes sense to wait until just before the opening to bring in those items.

It really astounds me that the hypocrites (nayboobs) who claim they support local businesses who don't use tax dollars to fund their start up costs -- have decided to exclusively attack one local businessman who is no using tax dollars and it is taking more time to get started up.

ANY business that rents or leases equipment has a screw loose.   NO intelligent business will rent or lease!   It costs too much.

but then, this is DV talking, the guy who is not nor ever has been a property owner, obviously has never rented either.   Anyone who has done both would know that owning is less cost than renting.

Tell us DV, if you rented for $1,000 a month for an apartment for 60 years of adulthood, with rent increases every two years, how much would you have spent over 60 years.   But a purchase of a house where the mortgage is $1,000 a month for a 30 year mortgage would be how much?

When people lease a car it's more expensive.

Just go to rent-a-center and rent a computer, it will cost you prboably $2,000 for a computer you could by for $500

But also, any business who hires before even having the money to get appliances is destined to failure.

Yeah, DV, how about RL's imagining that he's going to get a $250K grant and it's that scam on which he is planning to open with

No wonder he's not open yet

Actually leasing equipment makes a LOT of sense.

You don't tie up tens of thousands of dollars in capital.  Not to mention the tax advantages.

WRT Sprinklers - I saw a Chubb Fire & Security truck in their parking lot about 3-4 weeks ago, on a Saturday I think.

Indeed, MOST smart business people in and OUT of our community -- RENT or LEASE their cooking equipment.....  Often a large savings is found WITHOUT having to tie up hundreds of thousands of dollars in precious cash flow.  Also, it is SPECTACULAR that THIS business person is NOT using taxpayer money in any form to do what he does best --- Make and sell delicious and wholesome fare.

It especially makes sense when you're cash poor and don't intend on being open long term.

OF COURSE, you have proved once again, your lack of knowledge of anything.

An INTELLIGENT BUSINESS PERSON, is NOT going to pay $100,000 in rent over X years when they can buy something for $25,000 and own it free an clear

NO WONDER you don't own a house, don't have a job, and can't even live independently as a NORMAL adult male of your age should be doing

Oh yeah, makes for good long term planning to lease new equipment at inflated prices especially when you can buy used restaurant equipment for 10 cents on the dollar. Leasing applies to specialty equipment and gigundous items. For instance- a Caterpillar tractor or bulldozer. No one leases a stove, griddle, microwave, oven, pots or pans. No one. They would be idiotic. Once more someone with zero restaurant experience knows everything about the hospitality and restaurant biz.

Of course, what do I know? I know nothing according to the theorists of pubic service in the political class.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
