the "financial advisor" recently on the board's agenda has to do with bonding --- the town has had a
"financial advisor" retained for years in the event that the town puts out a bond issue --- what happened
is that the "financial advisor" that had been retained for a number of years  either died or retired ...... so
a new one was needed.

       There are increases for the proposed 2011 budget, however the budget currently has not been made available to the public in hard copy yet.

        GP asked where EE was.  FDG said she is sick.  GP asked if there was any closure to her return.  FDG indicated she currently can't return because of her illness.  So, she has been elected until 2013, are we to pay the Town Clerk's salary for another three years?  Why isn't the Town addressing this issue on behalf of its residents?

         ND requested the change in the Resolution, that if the tax district is passed, that REMs becomes the sole source provider.  Whatever happened to questioning the need for the taxing district?  Sorry Kelly, you got played!

          Vote is scheduled for December 14, 2010.

        Merry Christmas!   Get your check books out because you're going to have REMs.  They've got the seniors scared that they won't have ambulance service, and their kids don't want to pick up their bills, so that leaves spreading it out across the property owners.  Employees, salary, health care, pension, training, equipment, uniforms, new ambulances.  Lions and Tigers and Bears oh my!

I had nothing to do with the decision on how many copies of the budget were made and to whom they
were handed out to.   I arrived at Town Hall at 4:45 PM EST .. the copies were already made .. and I
followed my instructions .. which was to act as the clerk for the meeting --- take the roll,  read the
resolutions, and record the motions made & seconded and the actual votes.

I have been told that public can pick up copies starting tomorrow at the Town Clerk's office.

I didn't get a copy of the budget -- there was a copy for each town board member and one for the town
clerk's office  --- I only glanced at the budget before the meeting  but not enough to answer any questions
on it.

Then I hope that after the office is open tomorrow, someone will begin printing the budget, since no one took the time to upload it to the town's website (of course, they COULD do BOTH).

You can call whatever ambulance service you want.

Will there be money in the budget for the ambulance squad?  Either as a "gift of the townspeople," a line item, or will the taxing district be included in the budget?

the tax district can not be in the budget .. since it has not been approved

I didn't have  a chance to see if the $120,000 paid to REMS   (not a gift)  was included as a line item in the
2011 budget.
