The Regressives forget how Mr. Tomassone drained money out of the Senior Center and other places
to prop up his last budget.    Money that was being saved up to install the new kitchen and make other
repairs.

Not doing repairs Ron? That's the issue? How about this administration refusing to do repairs on the town court? I'd say not spending money on wants is a good idea when facing a budget crisis. If I had to chose between pushing off repairs and having lower taxes or repairs and higher taxes, I'd chose the latter. That's what I have to do when my budget has more anticipated expenses than income. Why should we let the government use us as a blank check?

As far as me being a republican hack, you have no problem when I criticize Amedore on this blog... I'm not a republican hack. I'm someone who thinks our government at all levels is deeply flawed and we need a change in the mindset of elected officials.

Another non-response, huh Ron? You are pathetic.

And may I remind you that ONCE AGAIN, you stated that you were finished with the REMS debate that you cannot win....LIAR!

DVR is just a waste of cheerleading time. Again, a puppet for the liberal socialists and you can bet with a promise of 'some' patronage job.

DVR is hardly a liberal socialist.  I AM a liberal socialist thank you.  Hope he does get a patronage job.  You sure handed them out.  And he is correct BT you and the Tomassone administration drained the money from the senior center for your nonsense and to pay for your big time lawyer GP.  And about the kitchen, DVR you got that business wrong.  Speak to the person who planned the kitchen and came up with part of the money to install it.  That would be the director from 2004.  That was a collaborative effort that got buried thanks to ST who screwed the seniors.  In fact the former director still has the plans to that kitchen.

I never used the term "republican hack" --- so you must be hallucinating.   IMHO ..you are a Regressive.
As for whether you criticize or support Mr. Amedore,   I couldn't care less ..  and don't recall saying that
I had a problem with you or anyone criticizing him.

Actually I am not the Booms you are looking for.   That Booms would be in DC with a new grandchild.  And bitter?  She could be but I highly doubt it.  She got the last laugh on you when she became the chair of Schdy County Long Term Care Advisory Council.  Then she really got the last laugh when she saw Mertz kicked to the curb by his own party.  But I will forward her your remarks.  Take heart she will be flying back late this evening and will be happy to take you on tomorrow I am sure.

Rotterdamians should be part of their budget process. I don't think any of them know what end is up. They will need all of the help they can get!!

its the republicans fault

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

There will be opportunities for the public to speak on the budget.   It really is up to the public to
take the time to come to Town Board meetings.   No one can take them by the hand and lead them
there.

It's a dirty shame that any party uses the seniors as podium pucks......and the sad part is that the seniors LET THEM......the politicals are nothing
more than Ed McMahon showing up on the doorstep of the elderly and telling them a lie about how pathetically old they are and dont worry we will change
your depends.....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

I think it is sad when politicians try to play a shell game to hide the problems confronting our community
or state or nation ---  rather than treating all voters like adults and saying  "here folks .. we have a
problem ... lets roll p our sleeves and see how we can fix it".

Taking money from the senior center and other accounts to "make believe" that the fiscal situation for
2010 was ok .. and that taxes didn't have to go up ... just so that  Mr. Tomassone and Company could
get a few more votes -- was the the height of irresponsibility.

it's equally as rude to pander to the poor poor seniors,,,,,as the Dems do......the purchase of voters either way is wrong........
