I just find it hard to believe when I happen upon this thread periodically that it has had OVER 12,000 POSTS!

All for a PRIVATE business that has taken NO money from the taxpayers. It's mind boggling. Nobody liked it when dvor negatively posted about 'another private business'.......yet all of those naysayers are doing the same thing......yes?

Correction - 600 replies, over 12,000 views.  Obviously some people have an interest in what's happening, for whatever reason.

What do you call it when you owe taxes and don't pay?   I guess it's OK for him to make money and not pay his taxes?   Revenue lost which must be made up by higher taxes on the rest of us.

Hello Friends, All City Code Inspections Completed as of Today!!!! Passed with FLYING COLORS!!! Thank GOD!!!, Now...... One More Inspection with the Health Dept and we are Ready to OPEN FOR BUSINESS at the NEW and EXCITING DOLCE VITA!!, as it stands if all goes according to this week's Plan we are planning a SOFT OPENING Thursday September 20, WATCH for Our Formal Announcement!

What are the chances that on September 20th some contractor/builder/repairman/etc rips off the Lorens yet again and the 'soft opening' turns into yet another cry for more money.

Hoping for the best, but expecting the same.

The opening will have to be delayed because he has to put out the help wanted signs.

Figure, he had them up in June.   These days, if you get offered a job, you do NOT wait over three months to start working.   RL has no money to buy equipment, he owes big time in delinquent taxes, no way is he going to have a full crew of employees hired back in June and pay them continuously til it opens.   So, anyone, intelligent or not, if they can't start working within a week and start getting paid, they will look for another job.

So perhaps he's be back into "opening delayed pending hiring staff.

So, how come his taxes still aren't paid?

How is he going to afford food to float the restaurant for a week or two until profit starts coming in?

Couldn't agree more. The quality of the food, ingredients and staff, all have to be suspect because of the financial methods used.  Evaluating this whole process, I do not plan to patronize them until I am comfortable that they are finaciailly firm and I have seen enough positive reviews (Goat Hurter reviews do not count) to give me some level of confidence.
