I don't want to eliminate the Confederate flag. It belongs in a museum or collections just like German Swastikas. No one is banning them. No one is prohibiting them in a private home or private club. But to fly that banner in a government building, denotes government support of the banner and it's meaning. Just as I oppose Christian nativity scenes on Govt grounds, I oppose these racist banners on Govt lands.

The shame caused to the flag you fought under during Vietnam is far worse symbolism than the symbolism of a flag fought under for secession from a voluntary Union. The American flag symbolizes killing brown and yellow people for profit.
