~Ted Cruz said Saturday that the Confederate flag flying in front of their statehouse is “a question for South Carolina” to decide. ~ Marco Rubio said the same: “This is an issue that they should debate and work through and not have a bunch of outsiders going in and telling them what to do.” ~ Scott Walker and Carly Fiorina also feel it is an issue for South Carolina alone to decide.
I seem to recall South Carolina trying to decide that issue in 1861, when on April 12 they opened fire on Fort Sumter, inaugurating the Civil War. Also, as I recall, they lost. The flag they waved at the end was white. That should have been an end to that affair.

Take down that Confederate Flag and honor the correct flag. Just like these honorable men and women(or should I say heroes) celebrating the flag draped coffin.
There is no room for flying a flags that for some, symbolize hatred toward a small minority of the country. You need to fly the flag that UNITES US, by symbolizing hatred for EVERYBODY around the world that is not "us".
why does a flag have to symbolize something or someone or some ideology? I always thought that was strange for all countries.
But it could be ANYTHING....without this nonsense symbolism. I think all countries should sit down together with the crayola people and everyone just pick a color. ....or draw from a hat. PERIOD!!!

White Activists March On Charleston Confederate Museum
Quoted Text
Hundreds of activists protested racism and domestic racial terrorism by marching on Charleston’s Confederate museum. Their chant was the now-iconic “Black Lives Matter.” Also, it is very much worth noting that most of the marchers were white. The following slogans on signs were from white marchers showing their unity with their black brothers and sisters:
“White supremacy is killing us.”
“Stop white terrorism.”

I'll use the same tact as the Muslims...
It is not "white terror"...it is one white person acting out on his racist beliefs...
It is not white supremacy, it is a minuscule group of whites that do not legitimately represent the white race.

I fail to see what the problem is. It is a state issue.
Now, because of a shooting by a deranged man, this becomes an issue?
Another manufactured lefty 'Flavor of the Week' social justice crisis.
Amazing Boxy, you don't talk about how Charleston came together. How 'race' wasn't involved. How nobody is calling for the death of 'whitey'. Why the blacks aren't burning down Charleston. Why "Reverend" Al Sharpton isn't there (isn't he a Christian reverend?) How the families of those killed came into the courtroom and said "I forgive you"...Damn those hateful, racist, won't bake a f*ckin' wedding cake for gays, Christians.
It must be baffling to why there are no riots, no violence, no hate.....And guess what.....No Obama.

So the people complaining about the flag in South Carolina are wrong also... it is not the confederate flag...

No pretty much it's degenerated into the symbol of the KKK, Skinheads, and other racists.

And also for the band Lynyrd Skynyrd, who despite what uniformed, ignorant dolts claim, are anything but racists.
