U.S. income inequality, on rise for decades,
is now highest since 1928

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

As one might expect, low- and middle-income people were most likely to
say the U.S. economic system favors the wealthy, but even 52% of high-income
people agreed that it does. And while 54% of low-income people and 49% of middle-income
people called the rich-poor gap a “very big” problem, only 36% of high-income people did so.
A third of the high-income group said the rich-poor gap was either a small problem (19%)
or not a problem at all (14%).

More than half (55%) of Republicans said the economic system is fair to most people,
but majorities of Democrats (75%) and independents (63%) said it favors the wealthy.

I was just reading an article on how the top wealthy are leaving the country and looking for bigger and better places, with idiots attacking them for their success and wanting more of what they created I don't blame them.

"In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, brave, hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, however, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a Patriot."

The Dems didn't want to pass them in 09?  They passed a $800 BILLION stimulus bill, why not a minimum wage increase?  Looks like the Obama economic policy was a giveaway to the 1%.

Thanks Obama!

The White House recently announced President Obama's support for a Senate bill that would increase
the federal minimum wage to $10.10 an hour. While it remains to be seen whether the bill will make it
through Congress, many states are not waiting to take action.

Lol...$800 BILLION and counting to the 1% while mandating the 99% get a $2 per hour raise or $80 a week.  That should equalize everything.  Oh yeah, BTW 99%...You are forced to buy insurance from the 1%, and it will be subsidized with your own money so you will think you are getting it for free.

Man, these fascist are so clever.

Thanks OBama! Time for a new president!

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

the point being they use it as a talking point and for votes....the fact is that it doesn't do ANYTHING but make
EVERYTHING go up....it's all relative.....there is ALWAYS someone on the bottom and the FEDS can't help that...

YOU can help that....go pick some fast food worker and give them 1/2 of your $ and stuff....you'll feel better about
yourself...

income inequality has NOTHING to do with minimum wage and everything to do with

tax code
banking system
trade controls
wars
entitlements
etc etc........

what's the value of the $$ you make....you don't know unless you try to spend it or invest it......
