Operation Steal the Vote 2012: Dept. of Justice Blocks Texas Voter ID Law

The Obama Administration continued its assault upon the sacred right to vote, by blocking the Texas’ Voter ID law...

This is peculiar. Obama's assault on the right to vote, by means of blocking the law, that blocks voting.

So the natural Republican response is block Obama's blocking of the law, that blocks voting.

F'ing cowards are afraid to have fair elections.

Blocking voter bills are currently proposed by Republicans in 34 states.

This should be considered election racketeering.

The party of exclusion, blocking, blame and NO!.

Amazing, they start a war against voters and accuse Obama of a war against the right to vote.

They start a war on women and accuse Obama of a war on women.

It's called projection.

Here is your fair and honest as created by the Democrats called the Motor Voter law, I just love how they guard the vote so only people who are legally elegible are able to vote.  How does this work?  In order to register to vote, the Motor Voter Registration form simply asks the applicant to sign, stating he or she is a citizen of the U.S., 18 years old, a resident of the precinct for the last 30 days and not a felon.  On one county form, the Social Security number (or last four digits) is requested.  On another county's form, a driver's license number is requested.

I asked a DuPage County elections official how they would check whether a person registering to vote was a citizen of the U.S.  She said that they have no choice but to accept the word of the person who registered.
If there was any suspicion that the voter was not a citizen of the U.S., an election judge at the polling place could file an objection when he or she comes in to vote.

Who will the GOP Anti-Voter laws keep from voting?

Awwww, she has no ID. She has never been able to get another ID. So when she goes to her Social Security Office they must tell her to pound salt. Or when she gets her foodstamps, she gets the boot. Or when she goes to the market and wants to get the discount card she gets turned away. Or when she goes to the bank, no luck- she can't open an account. How terrible. No one can confirm who she is, and what a terrible thing. What does she do when she files her tax return? She does it without a SS number? Or is she a typical liberal tax cheat too?

Even though she goes here and there (obviously) and has a SS number, she feels it is impossible to get a photo ID? What bull schit. Liberals expect to lie, lie lie and then demand everyone believe them. Old people lie too, I hate to tell you. Black people lie as much as white and EVEN poor people LIE.

How come my Mom was able to go to the Sheriffs office to get a photo ID even though she had quit driving several years before? She votes, she banks, she files tax returns, she gets SS, and goes to the Dr. Office and had prescriptions that require ID to pick up...

It must be racism, that is it.

I find this funny.  You MUST sign up of Selective Services as an offering of your life to the State whenever they desire .  If you DO NOT sign up for Selective Services you are denied federal programs like student loans and there is no outcry about that.  BUT...God forbid you try to protect the integrity of the democratic process by requiring an ID to vote to make sure those people in control of your life are elected fairly, you are accused of suppressing the vote.

What a bunch of bull sh*t.

Exclusive: Florida Investigating Potential Non-Citizen Voters
May 8, 2012 11:18 PM

Reporting Gio Benitez

MIAMI (CBS4) – In a new crackdown, Florida officials are investigating the citizenship of thousands of registered voters. CBS4 News has learned 2,000 of those potential non-citizen voters are registered in Miami-Dade County. At least one person on the list has had the opportunity to vote for the past 40 years.

“These are the people that we have to notify by mail that we have a reason to believe that they’re a non-citizen,” said Christina White, Deputy Supervisor of Elections.

Miami-Dade is not alone. Broward is looking at 260 registered voters and Monroe is investigating four.

Numbers are important in elections. After all, the 2000 presidential election was decided by just over 500 votes.

“So it’s very important that voter registration rolls are accurate and only people who are eligible, are able to vote,” White told CBS4′s Gio Benitez.

It’s unclear if any of these people have ever voted. The new information simply shows they can vote. Each person has 30 days to respond to the County’s inquiry asking them to prove their citizenship. Up until recently, no proof of citizenship was required when registering to vote.

“So, if we find out after the fact that you are actually a non-citizen, and you are registered to vote, then we would report you to the State Attorney’s office,” said White.

The State Attorney may charge anyone unlawfully registered to vote with a felony.

“So if you are not [a citizen] and you check the box on the registration form that says that you are [a citizen], we are required to register you to vote, because you are taking that under oath.”

Broward Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes supports the investigation of non-citizen voters.

“As someone who has to uphold the laws of the state of Florida for elections, it’s totally inappropriate for that person to have been voting, if that’s the case,” said Snipes.

White says, in Miami-Dade, the potential non-citizen voters are a small percentage of the 1.2 million registered voters in Miami-Dade.

“So I don’t want to send an alarming message that we have a lot of non-citizens on our registration rolls,” she said.http://miami.cbslocal.com/2012/05/08/exclusive-florida-investigating-potential-non-citizen-voters/

Cicero, for his entire life, has been protected by the US Military... yet he owes his country NOTHING.
He pays a pittance in taxes, that he considers too high, yet he owes his country NOTHING.
He takes, he uses, he complains, but he gives NOTHING.

To paraphrase John Kennedy,
Cicero doesn't ask what he can do for his country... he asks what can my country do for me... and don't
expect me to pay a dime for it.

I deal with the guilt every day, thinking about how I missed out on the Vietnam draft - only if I could have laid down my life for my great leaders.  It is the least I could do.  Kennedy, Johnson, and Nixon - these leaders led 58K Americans to their death, and tens of thousands more wounded physically and psychologically, protecting America from the advancing armies of Ho Chi Minh.

My entire life, I have been propagandized to believe American militarism and adventurism has been protecting my "freedom" at home.  Reality - THAT'S A LIE!

Box, I'll give you the same advice you gave me when you were so anti-war while Bush was in office.  Read 'War is a Racket' by General Smedley, it seems you may have erased it from your conscience for argument sake.

Funny, i always joke that is the democratic's modern day slogan..

If he pays his pittance in taxes, he is doing alot more then many people in this country, and i dare say someone speaking up about how unjust their government might be is of more help then the US military who sends many boys to death for reason that many who come home from IRAQ do not understand.  I question what the US military is doing for us besides spending our boys lives in exchange for economic interests.

The US military is responsible to protect this country in times of war and aggression.  They are NOT
responsible for which wars we fight or whether we fight a war or not.

Civilians have the responsibility to insure that any war the US undertakes is worth the sacrifice of its troops.

Civilians (by their proxy the politicians) make wars, which the military must carry out. The US military runs
the every day order of battle decisions, but they have no voice in the political choice to go to war.

Unless I missed something, Military personnel have the right to vote. so they are just as responsible of electing the "proxies" as the civilians.

So our presidents who push us to war, the commander in chief of the US millitary has no voice in the political choice to go to war.  Isn't it true we don't even declaire war anymore, we have "operations" against "terrorists" autorised by the head of the us MIlitary wihtout the needed concent of the people or congress?  Did we have a popular vote to go to war ever, or did we just not reelect people we disagree with sending us to war "afterwards"?  What about all the people who got drafted to vietnam? was it because that was the will of the people?  I don't think so.
