I'm surprised the Republicans aren't demanding thumbprint scanners.
BTW thumbprint scanners are easily fooled. They did it on mythbusters and my kid also did it with a paper fingerprint made using a flatbed scanner and printer.

A few months ago, I needed to cash a check someone had given me. Having no bank account, I took it to the bank it was drawn on, Citizens on Altamont Avenue. Not only did they want to charge me $7 to cash the $800 check, but they wanted my fingerprint. I've got no problem with the $7 - it's the cost of staying off the grid, which I'm fine with - but the fingerprint request just really pissed me off. I found "other" ways to cash it, and didn't pay the $7 OR give them a fingerprint. They can kiss my fat, old, saggy, baggy white a** before I give ANY bank my fingerprnt.

The Bank at Broadway and Westinghouse place charges $6 to cash a check and also a fingerprint.

Voter watchdog says it's uncovered absentee ballot fraud in Florida, New York

A national voter fraud watchdog group announced Tuesday that it has uncovered at least 31 cases of absentee ballot fraud in New York and Florida -- a finding the group claims is "just the tip of the iceberg."
True the Vote, a group that focuses on voter fraud, said it turned over 31 cases to state and federal election authorities in which individuals cast their votes in two states in the same federal election -- which is a felony.
Logan Churchwell, a spokesman for the group, told FoxNews.com that the organization accessed Florida's complete voter registration roll and cross-referenced it against 10 percent of New York's list. It identified more than 1,700 people with voter registrations in both states. Of that number, 31 people allegedly voted in both states during the same federal election cycle.
Both Florida and New York require voters to cast ballots that correspond with their permanent home addresses. Under federal law, voters are prohibited from casting more than one ballot in the same election.
"This is further evidence of just how susceptible our election system is to voter fraud," the group's president, Catherine Engelbrecht, said in a statement.
The group said it has alerted the Office of Florida Secretary of State, the New York State Board of Elections and the U.S. Department of Justice of its finding.
"This should serve as a warning to any individual considering committing voter fraud in this year’s election," Engelbrecht said. "These findings are only the beginning of our effort. As today is National Voter Registration Day, it's important to remember that no candidate or cause is worth a felony conviction."
John Smith lived in NY and was a registered Republican there for 30 years. He still owns his home there and voted there until he moved to Florida for the winters. He bought a winter home in Florida retirement community and spends his winters there from Nov 1 thru April 15th. He never cancelled his voter registration in NY but he now votes in Florida. When you run John's name in the database he would be on your list of "voter fraud" even though he only voted in Florida for the last 5 years.
John Smith was also arrested for a felony offense. His name would appear on some felony lists even though he pleaded to a lesser offense and is NOT A CONVICTED FELON. His name would appear on a list due to his supposed Felon status, even though he is still a legal voter.
John Smith's dad was also named John Smith. When the dad passed away he left his home to his son John.
Our John Smith has so far accounted for 3 separate offenses of Voter Fraud where none exists... but it sure sells well on FoxSnooze! Since there is a "John Smith" who is diseased of the same address, John Smith would also appear on a list of Deceased Voters.
Poor John. Before he can vote he will need to get passed 3 different Republican Voter Suppression lists.

No Shadow... they uncovered 31 cases of "ALLEGED VOTER FRAUD"... and so far none of the accused cases have been found to actually contain voter fraud.

Allegedly... an important word in your post. When these 'voter fraud' cases are first in the press, there are hundreds or thousands of ALLEGED cases of voter fraud.
When the investigation is complete... maybe one or two convictions. The facts? In person voter fraud is almost non existent.
Election fraud... where poll workers or politicians stuff the ballot box, especially absentee voters, is not uncommon at all. (as a recent case in Troy NY). Of course, voter ID Laws will do nothing to stop Election Fraud.

As it turns out, the registration worker was not working for the El Paso County Clerk's office. Instead, she was a paid employee of the state Republican Committee, as confirmed by the local GOP Chairman.
