So is the Metroplex going to finance Dolce Vita's relocation with taxpayers $$$$ like they did Cornells and Villa Italia and all of the others and claim it as 'job creation'? Or is the Metroplex going to pass on this one and show their bias?

Looks like Metroplex gets to pick the business winners and losers, huh?

Personally, I prefer Perry Como over Tony Bennett   ....   Louis Armstrong  and Ray Charles over Sammy Davis Jr.

OH? So you can only choose one Italian- American and Sammy Davis HAS TO BE COMPARED to other "colored" performers? Like what do they have in common? To say you would "prefer" Davis over Armstrong is like saying you prefer Christmas Roast to Easter Ham? Can't you compare Davis with WHITE musicians?

What a stupid statement. They ALL are great in their own right, however putting Perry Como in the same category as Bennett as a musician is like trying to race a Cadillac Escalade in Formula One. Yeah, both are really nice and talented in their own ways, and I should actually have called Como a Lincoln Continental...But really, it shows you are not a musician.

GB, you realize trying to post a reply with any kind of common sense or intelligence to this guy is like asking a question of a block of styrofoam....the bock of foam is there, likely your voice is going in, but there is no comprehension or capability, so your question remains just that, an unanswered question.

Last time that I checked ... Perry Como, Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra were ALL Italian-Americans  BUT there ethnicity has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with my liking their music.  Besides those 3 men were more noted as AMERICAN singers singing songs for an American audience than as ethnic singers -- granted each sung several songs in Italian but those were for a broader market of Americans that happened to also include Italian-Americans.

I don't take ethnic background, skin color, religion, etc into account when determining whether I will listen to a particular singer/entertainer or not.   My taste in music is actually quite eclectic and within genres I prefer some singers/musicians over others -----   which is pretty much something most people do.

Open up your minds by opening up your ears to the magnificent diversity found in music.

Yep, old people music, old spinster music.   Are you sure you're not 70 years old?   No wonder you are single.

LDC closed because there are too many better Italian options around. A successful place does not close and than look around for another cheaper site. The Las Vegas shtick did not wear well and when the partners left-that's all folks. Go to Brandon's now open on Chrysler Ave for much better fare without the time warp floor show.

The Nayboobs wish to destroy every ounce of vigor that this economy has

And since the Democratic leadership Team has taken to restoring FAITH in our once fragile economy -- the criminal Nayboobs have been at it night and day - trying to rip it apart -- thankfully they have not succeeded thus far and hopefully they never will.

I happen to listen to a WIDE RANGE of music ... I really don't care what the nayboobs think about my choices and they certainly know where they can "shove" their insults.
