The ALS contract has been held up by Mr. DelGallo and Mr. Godlewski for months.

Who needs a contract to collect ALS fees?  They've been collected for years.  Where they went, nobody knows. But lets talk about DM and a Brass Rail employee.  That's MUCH MORE IMPORTANT.

hey dvor two quick questions -

who pulled the ALS contract off the agenda? it was on there prior to meeting

should delerenzo get his zone change?

Personally, I would have voted no on the zone change.

I don't know who pulled the ALS contract off the agenda -- quite frankly,  I have been busy with some other things and can't spend all my time monitoring what goes on in town hall.

Who changed the agenda? And is that legal?

The one on-line was not the same as they had at the rotterdam tb meeting.

And I hear that residents have to get there early just so they are sure to get a copy of that night's agendas. They say there was a shortage at the meeting before too.

The ALS contract was tabled by a vote of the Board at the agenda meeting on Monday.

The three musketeers were part of the same campaign that wanted and supported the idea to bring rotterdam back to the constantino/kirvin days. They already succeeded by bringing their old crony JM back. They also succeed with giving the developers carte blanche eg. BI and recently TD.

They three musketeers also screwed the rotterdam taxpayers by sliding through a budget that had NO public input.

They also screwed the rotterdam taxpayers by hiring a legal firm WITHOUT public input and minus a bidding process. Not to mention it is over budget.

They have also neglected to put the ALS contract out for bid. Monies that the three musketeers accounted for in their last minute budget.

This is what happens when they attempt to rekindle the old constantino/kirvin days. Ain't gonna fly with a more educated and more informed rotterdam electorate!!

WHAT A MESS ROTTERDAM IS!!

NONE OF THEM ARE WORTH ANOTHER VOTE!!!!

I don't remember any of them calling for a return of the Constantino style...you are simply likening the entire bunch to those
types...and wrongfully so, IMO.

I don't know how you can conclude that the majority passing a budget with a smaller tax increase than the vendetta
version proposed by FDG/BG screwed taxpayers...especially when that majority had no choice but to develop a budget
of their own...they were not included in the discussions of the originally proposed budget and were denied access to
information from various public officials...by order of FDG...probably on BG's advice.

Attorneys hired by the Town are not generally subject to public hearings...at least I don't recall a public hearing prior to hiring
Town Attorneys....and there is more than $200,000 budgeted for legal fees.

The ALS contract does not go out to bid...any ambulance provider operating in the Town is eligible to sign an ALS contract that
would allow that ems provider to bill for our paramedics, retain a small percentage as a fee for that billing and then turn the
remainder of the amount collected for that call over to the Town.

The reason the ALS contract originally on the agenda was tabled is because they are undecided as to which ems provider will be
awarded the contract...as that will be the first provider dispatched to emergencies...and will likely be the biller/collector for the vast
majority of paramedic assistance...and this is key. No one at the time knew the significance of securing the BLS provider because
of the priority this would place on that provider designated by contract. I asked if I could explain it but no one would let me speak.

The only one even associated with Constantino is TJ...and the only Board member loyal to TJ is WC....ND and MM are not
"demacops"...one of the reasons we need to keep them...despite TJ's hostility toward them.
