I have voted in every election for just about 40 years --   and in all that time.....

Wow, he must have failed grades in school many times.  He has indicated he, uh, "graduated" from high school in 1980 so, as DV states, he has voted in ever election for 40 years which means he was at least 21 years old in 1970, so between entering Kdg and "graduating" from high school, he must have been made to repeat almost every grade level at least once because then he was 31 years old in 1980 when he finally was booted out of high school.

I heard at the coffee shop this weekend that ND is loosing support daily for soooo many reasons. So it looks like rotterdamians are taking her off the list of possibilities.

Oh come on BT...in the coffee shop??? You're kidding right???

How many reasons...what are they????

It is entirely up to ND whether she will run and for what position...both Parties want her on their lists...for everything...things aren't
always as they seem...especially when you hear about it at the "coffee shop"...that would be on par with the beauty parlor.

I get my best information at the diner Gadfly.  You are right.  Things aren't always what they seem.  And ND is not what you think she is.  She has neither style nor substance.  This is a problem, if you are running for office.  You need to get yourself a new hoorse in this race.

Hey, I'm just sayin what many rotterdamians and beyond have told me....really!!

And does it really matter what political party wants her on their lists? Bottom line is............is she electable? NO!

And I'm not a beauty parlor patron, but those folks have opinions too....and they vote!!! So do folks who drink coffee in coffee shops!!!

Many Rotterdamians have told me they LOVE Nicki...I hear if you attend a TB mtg you can see it twice a month.   My guess is BT that she is not a memebr of your pretend NNTP so you will begin to put her down.

Everyone sees through your bs....its not really that hard and your not really that crafty.  Nice try tho.

ND has an inconsistent record.  She is on record saying she left the city for a better life for her children here in Rotterdam, and shortly after, she was outraged about the tax increase on her Rotterdam home, saying she was going to do something about it.  Then she slashes the Town budget by raiding the reserves to keep taxes low.  BUT, when there is a referendum on a NEW taxing district for REMS, ND was strangely quiet….Where was her fiscal conservative voice on the REMS taxing district?

Just one of those things that make you go hmmmmmmm...

she has 3 choices
1. run from the tax increases
2. get on the gravy train with the rest of the 'club'
3. actually change legislation and not with fancy talk and dropping crumbs

What is inconsistent about wanting a better life and not liking a tax hike??? What is wrong with wanting to do something about that?

The reserves were all but depleted because Tommasone was raiding it on a regular basis to keep taxes low...ND's budget includes
ALS funds that the Tommasone administration allowed REMS to steal.

Almost all elected officials were quiet on their positions regarding the ems tax...but it doesn't mean that none of them are
conservative.

John Mertz recently told me that while he was on the Town Board, discussions about ALS collection had occurred among
Board Members, but to my knowledge he never said anything until now.
Just one of those things that makes you go hmmmmmm...
