No Bumble not all over the place.  It is simple.  I have nothing against Mertzie except I don't like physical violence.  I thought his going to the meeting would bring a healing instead he went in there like a neanderthal.  That knocked him down in my thinking.  I know the bull$hit and the rhetoric.  TB is a fool and has done a terrible job.  BL turns into a raving ingrate.  That knocks down the NNTP folks again.  (2X--Bl and JM of late.)  I had better hopes for Mertz.  I am not going to endorse people who want to join "Fight Club."  Not even if TB deserved a swift kick in the butt. (I suspect he does)  Tell Mertz to get on here and explain his behavior.  So bumble you are out of line.

Yesterday at this time, I was hopeful with Mertz pulling it together for all.  Instead he acted like a bull in  a china closet.  Now if this didn't happen, let's hear it.

I think alleycat likes hte NNTP because they are good for business for the Dems.  That's all they are, and will ever be.  Can't wait for their infighting, when they realize what a joke Mertz is.  McGarry sold out to the Dems for the IDA (of course, he's been "in" with the Mallozzi's for YEARS.)  Littlefield is alienating those who supported him. O'Connor, we haven't heard a peep from...haven't seen him speak at a town meeting as he used to.  What happened to his advocacy?

Its time for all you GOP whiners to stop blaming the NNTP.  The blame is at the feet of G Parisi, S "big spender" tommasone, & J Suhrada who want a new tax line for their EMS buddies.  My recommendation is for those jokers to stick to making crappy pizza and old candy.

Jeeez ~ I leave for a couple of days and everything falls apart.

All of you crack me up!

From what I understand ~ there was no fight.  Not surprising Howdy Doody and Mertz had words, but last I checked there was no police report.  By the way, anyone who knows these two guys could guess that it will take more than one meeting to square up their issues.

So the meeting was a bust ~ big deal.  We're right where we were yesterday at this time.

I will agree on one thing ~ as long as each side continues the blame game ~ they will both come out on the losing end.  I don't think the GOP can handle another loss though ~ so spoilers or not ~ Longo and boys better figure a way to avoid conflicts with the NNTP guys.

Also ~ if the NNTP guys want to win anything they better stop pissing off the GOP or they'll have to start accepting the Dem endorsements.

Stuck in the past in a wet paper bag......NNTP won it for the dems....the NNTP lost it for the Reps.....who are we kidding here....this county is incestuous in politics and it really doesn't matter which party
is in....as long as folks are 'in' the pyramid......really now...this is NYS--the empire of the lotto and bunch of other crap(although ultimate fighting/boxing I like).....

anyhow,,,the rest of you folks are shortsighted a probably just had pasta dinner with 'the other party' folks....so please,,,,everyone talking about how they 'know' this person, 'heard' that person....
get over it.....

the parties ARE OVER......really, you have been tapped to leave the dance floor along with with the dead Kennedys.....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

You miss my opinion?  I think you're the only one! LOL.  Advocate?  I toiled at that gig for 6 years.  Then I offered myself as a candidate and lost.  I'm an advocate on other things now.  But since the election there have only been a handful of meetings anyway.  None of them required input from me, in my opinion.  What's more, I said that I'd give the new administration a chance before I started weighing in.  I do what I say.

So...is there something specific you'd like me to comment on?  The banter here has been nothing but an exchange of disparaging insults lately.  I refuse to participate.  I've already said previously that if you want my thoughts on something, contact me directly...but you'll have to identify yourself to me - I don't have conversations with aliases.

I will offer less unsolicited opinion in 2010.  That's a function of many things.  Don't mistake my "silence" for not being informed, not paying attention, or not caring.  I remain who I have always been.

Michael, if you were truly about what is best for the town...then you would have been weighing in at these previous meetings.  They discussed a spending cap, they fired town residents...come on! Why all of a sudden no word from you?

I'm aware of what was discussed.  Why is my opinion so important to you?  If you've paid attention to what I said during the campaign and before, you already know my likely opinion.  I've stood at the podium on many matters for many years, publicly taking unpopular positions.  I also held my tongue many other times.  I've always tried to pick the most effective time to make my point and always do so with a clear purpose in mind.

I won't defend myself against your opening comment because it's absurd.  I won't answer your last question either but if you find out the answer on your own, I'll bet you'll feel a bit foolish for having made both statements.  Either way, if you'd like a substantive discussion with me, send me an email at rotterdamwindmill@yahoo.com , but if I don't know who I'm talking to, don't expect the conversation to last long.

Wow...ok, then.  Perhaps the NNTP is closer to the Dems than just McGarry, considering the fact that although some of the same things are going on now as during Tommasone's regime, you are quiet.  Ladies and Gentlemen, Michael O'Connor!

There's no "wow" involved.  When I speak for or against something, at least people know it's me speaking.  What weight do you think your alias gives you?  The answer is ZERO.  I did better than speak up against the shenanigans - why do you think I ran for office?  THAT was the opportunity for an alternative to the continued shenanigans.  YOU missed it.  My lot in life is not to stand up for you for all eternity because you won't stand up for yourself.  My views and positions are well known and can be directly attributed to me.  I don't ever hide from them.  Can you say the same from behind your alias?  I've invited you to a substantive discussion with me if you simply identify yourself (I promise to keep your sacred secret) but you avoid me.  Why is that?
