While I understand that the source of this story is the right-wing CBS News, I thought that some might find it interesting

Quoted Text
Surprising source of GOP convention guns petition

...

A few things you should know about Jim: He declined to disclose his last name or any potentially identifying information, but I was able to corroborate his identity as the author of the petition with an employee of Change.org.

Jim wouldn't say where he lives, only that he has roots in Philadelphia and works in the public health sector. Jim is a self-described liberal Democrat who intends to vote for Hillary Clinton should she become the Democratic nominee. He isn't affiliated with a campaign or any advocacy group, but did some volunteer work on Barack Obama's 2008 presidential campaign. Jim is no fan of guns and he's "pretty passionate" about his activism, he says.

Regardless of what the political PAC did?  The political PAC was attacking his wife and he was defending his wife by attacking back.  You would let your wife get attacked without defending her?

I agree with Trump...Fight fire with fire.  Especially when defending your wife.  You want to excuse the political PAC and you expect Trump to just sit back and allow his wife to be attacked.  Only a spineless man would sit back and let his wife get attacked without hitting back.

Box, I disagree with you and Cooper...Trump acts like a 3rd grade bully.

Sissy, Trump knows/can find out who is responsible for the anti-trump PAC ad, They are the ones he should go after.
But it's so much easier to try and bully Cruz (I'm not a Cruz fan) and milk this whole thing.
Stop being so naïve. Trump is playing the media and the public like a fiddle...a bad one!

Who are these people behind this "anti-Trump" political PAC?  Do they have any names?  Do they have any connection to presidential candidates?  What is the PAC's goal?

What does "anti Trump" actually mean?  Does that mean their only political action is to slander Trump and his family?  Is that even a political action?

Maybe Anderson Cooper should do a little digging into these questions instead of being a useful tool for these PAC's and assist in trying to take Trump down.  Instead of only focusing on Trump's response to the antagonists, find out exactly who they are, why they attacked Trump's wife, and for what purpose?  My bad, that would require honest journalism.

If you are so concerned with PAC's, why don't you investigate them.

As for Cooper's interview with Trump, he is a candidate for US President.  Do you think
that any presidential candidate should be excused from questions from the press???
Trump attacked another candidates wife.  That would seem to be newsworthy no matter
which candidate (or PAC) did the attacking.

If you believe the polls and you want Hillary or Bernie to be elected, then you would
support Donald Trump for the GOP nomination as he is the weakest candidate
against Hillary or Bernie.

Donald Trump said there would “have to be some form of punishment”
for women who have abortions if the procedure were outlawed.

He didn’t offer specifics, noting that the punishment would “have to be determined.”

When asked if a man should bear responsibility for abortions as well, Trump said “no”
he didn’t think so.

Of course he can ask the question.  Can't Anderson answer the question of "who started it"?  Shouldn't Anderson have the detailed information of the money and people behind the political PAC that ran the attack ad that provoked Trump's response?  Is Cooper excused from answering that question?  Instead, Cooper decided to attack Trump for asking Cooper "who started it", by comparing him to a 5th grader.

What a enlightening concept...the interviewer should be answering the questions and doing the investigation
or Trump....REALLY? Get real and stop playing jackass! It's not the interviewers responsibility to inform Trump
who the PAC is....and Trump already knows, but couldn't explain that without having to explain WHY he attacked
Cruz, knowing that Cruz was not involved.  GET IT????

Watching and listening to Trump over the last weeks , I am now convinced that he wants to sink his campaign, but just not get blamed for it.
I now think from the beginning, he started this effort for publicity and ego and NEVER thought it would really catch on.
I think Trump is doing everything he can to make sure he won't get the delegates to lock up the nomination.
He knows that if it goes to the convention he will lose.
But, that's the best scenario for him.... he gets out of an effort he doesn't want, in his eyes, he saves face. And he has millions of followers he can sell books or a number of things to...

Trump is about ego and money, and if it plays out the way he wants, he'll stroke one and get more of the other.

Did you watch the ad Joey?  That ad shows Trump's wife naked on a bearskin rug, taken from GQ photo shoot 20 years ago.  Then it asks the viewers(targeted towards Mormons prior to Utah Primary)if Trump's wife is the woman you want as First Lady.  Then in the next sentence it says, if you don't - VOTE FOR TED CRUZ.  Ted Cruz NEVER denounced this Political PAC for running the ad, and using Cruz's name.  Cruz never demanded the PAC stop running the ad using Trump's wife.  Cruz's response was that he wasn't affiliated with that PAC.

The Ad was in support of TED CRUZ.  Ted Cruz never denounced it, never demanded it be taken down.  Ted gets a free pass on the misogonistic Political PAC that is supporting him, because the media hates Trump more than Ted.

Anderson Cooper isn't running for anything.  If his question is good or dumb, makes
little difference go me.
What Trump says IS important to anyone who votes in November...
So, Cissy, this has nothing to do with you, as you are not among the
voting public.

You're right, I could care less who wins the rigged election after the rigged undemocratic primaries.  This recent circus event is just an opportunity to shine a light on how slanted news reporting is used to shape a narrative in an effort to shape public opinion.

As usual, redirect by Sissy.  Your point was about Cooper being the one answering questions.
