56 percent of terrorist attacks and plots have been perpetrated by right-wing extremists,
30 percent by eco-terrorists and 12 percent by Islamic extremists. The highest number of
extremist hate groups ever recorded in U.S. history, with the sharp rise attributed to massive
growths in white supremacist, anti-immigrant and radical anti-government groups. Anti-Muslim
hate groups have also increased by 300 percent.

From 2002 to 2007, only nine right-wing extremists were indicted for their roles in politically
motivated murders and other types of ideologically motivated violent assaults. But between
2008 and 2012, the number mushroomed to 53, according to data collected by the New
America Foundation.

Fifteen right-wing extremists were indicted in 2012 — including six who were involved in a
militia in Georgia that accumulated weapons, plotted attacks on the government and murdered
a young U.S. Army soldier and his 17-year-old girlfriend, who they suspected were planning
to rat out the group to authorities.
Seven claimed membership in the anti-government Sovereign Citizens movement
and allegedly murdered two policemen in Louisiana. And two  had gone on a murderous rampage
the previous year, killing four people before they were arrested in California, where they told
police they were on their “way to Sacramento to kill more Jews.”

By comparison, in 2012, only six people who subscribed to al Qaeda’s ideology were indicted
on terrorism-related charges in the United States, confirming the trend of the past four years,
which is a sharp decline in such cases that has been documented by the authors in previous pieces for CNN.com.

Yup, more BLIND HATRED!!!

All BEFORE joining the military....but hey, he was a Vet of the Gulf war, so that MUST be why he did what he did.
Henry, please, you are really better than this...stop the blindness!!!!

Not blind just seeing a trend, you posted 3 different backgrounds on 3 different killers, they seemed to have only 2 things in common, they served in the military and they killed.

Speaking of BLIND!!!
You completely omitted their Right Wing Hate Group obsession.

Charles Whitman learned how to shoot in the military, but never shot at anything but targets until his
murder spree when he was in college.
The Connally report found: "Whitman's lesion "conceivably could have contributed to his
inability to control his emotions and actions." Forensic investigators have theorized that
the tumor may have been pressed against the nearby amygdalae regions of his brain.

McVeigh and Cross had three things in common... but your 'blindness' caused you to miss the
most obvious common trait...
Both were Right Wing Haters.  Both Hated their Government.  Hey!  This keeps coming up...
Whenever I post about these Right Wing haters they have a very similar profile to Henry!
Just a strange recurring coincidence, I'm sure!

Like I said, blindness......
You posted 3 individuals because of military connection.
I posted backgrounds to show you all three of them had troubled lives BEFORE
entering the military.  All three were already on a path of hatred and destruction BEFORE
they entered the military....why are you blind to those facts????? The only blame I feel on the Military
is that they even accepted these individuals into the service....they should have been disqualified
based on their historical backgrounds....unless the information was not forthcoming.

So to your point, the "trend" is that they were all troubled individuals heading to self destruction
BEFORE entering military service!

BULL$HIT...you didn't read the bios. You want to continue to blame the military,
then feel free. No amount of explanation is going to change the mind of a blind hater.
Too bad and very sad..................

So you are going to ignore the countless soldiers coming back killing themselves and others, over 20 kill themselves every day, some feel others should pay for their mistakes and kill us instead. Its a fact that our military men and women are coming back f*cked up in the head, nobody denies it.

YOU brought up Whitman.  He never killed anyone while in the military.
He was a college student when he went on his rampage.
So... if you blame anyone who was in the military... should we also blame anyone who went to college???
~ Va Tech shooter was in college???
~ Columbine???
~ Northern Illinois University shooting???

Suicide is the 12th leading cause of death in the United States about 32,000 a year.

Now you are switching topic to Military suicides/murderers. I don't ignore it, but you ignore everything else that is related!
To address the direction of the thread you initially took, I choose to evaluate the total package of evidence and not focus on
one fact that may or may not be the driving force behind their actions. I do not believe that any 1 event, activity, thought,
impression, feeling or action is the driving force behind these heinous criminal acts. That's why I tried to get you to look
beyond your blindness and look at the historical value of the person....because that's where it all begins!  In the 3 cases you
pointed out, specifically, looking at their bios, you can see that their destiny was already well formed before they entered
the military, and likely end results would have been the same even if they never joined the military....but then again,
when you are BLIND, you can't see that far beyond the HATE point that you have.

I have to agree!  The military didn't make them psychopaths, they just recruit them and refine their skills, to enhance their natural tendencies to kill without remorse.
