Turn in???
Other countries, Australia for example have used a 'gun buy back' program to successfully rid their country
of assault rifles.
I'm glad and eager to "turn in" any weapon that I own which is illegal.

How about you?
Will you "turn in" your illegal weapons, or will you just consider yourself a criminal?
Lots of criminals  disobey laws, you know... like pedophiles or heroin dealers, or old lady rapists.

I'll take that as a NO ...Typical... you post a quote from Warren essentially saying that 2nd amendment only covers militias and not private ownership... but of course, you make an exception for yourself... hypocrisy abounds once again....

How about me? well, let me check.. no guns, no weapons in this house... got anything else, asswipe?

LMAO!  When T-Turd gets frustrated he reverts to his 3rd grade self... "ASSWIPE".
Really... it's the best he can do.

To the point... I don't know why T-Turd has such a problem with comprehension.

When asked if I would turn in my guns... my reply was:
~ "I'm glad and eager to "turn in" any weapon that I own which is illegal." ~
For T-Turd this statement is not direct enough and some how ambiguous.

What's It Like To Be Shot By An Assault Rifle?
Watch the video and you'll see why they are so much more deadly than a typical pistol.

We are advised NOT to judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.   Funny how that works.

Bunch of bullshit, plain and simple... The "assault" rifle is NO MORE powerful than a hunting rifle, which the "assault" rifle ban would not touch...
Second, the Ar-15 caliber is mostly .223... they're trying to say a 45 caliber handgun wouldn't do as much damage shot for shot?
Also, in MANY cases, slower bullets can do more damage in the body as they ricochet off bones and act like a pinball machine.

That was a one minute hatchet piece and was pretty poorly fact checked.

So if a person is on an FBI watchlist and tries to buy a gun and is denied,  wouldn't that first tip off the person they are being watched by the FBI, and second, wouldn't they go to the black market to buy a gun?

When accessing the effectiveness of a bullet on human flesh, they use gelatin to simulate the
flesh.  Bullets striking bone just increases the damage.

UK Gun Laws ‘Saved Metro Knife Attack From Turning Into Orlando Style Massacre’

The victim of an Islamic State-inspired knife attack at a London Underground station
has said his assault could have turned into the kind of massacre seen in Orlando if it
was not for British gun control laws.

Lyle Zimmerman, 57, had his neck slashed with a rusty blade by a mentally ill Islamic
extremist at Leytonstone Tube station in east London last year.

But the musician, who still bears the scars from the attack, said he would not have
survived if his assailant, Muhiddin Mire, had had access to firearms
