Abortion is the effect of something responsibility could have stopped before the unwanted effect

One program that definitely cuts down the number of abortions is Planned Parenthood.

Quoted Text
Planned Parenthood often is the only source of family planning for a large proportion of the
women they serve.

Planned Parenthood provides sexual and reproductive health care, education, and information
to nearly five million women, men, and adolescents worldwide each year.

Nearly three million women and men in the United States annually visit Planned Parenthood
affiliate health centers for trusted health care services and information.

Eighty-two percent of Planned Parenthood health care clients in the U.S. are age 20 and older.

One in five women in the U.S. has visited a Planned Parenthood health center at least once
in her life.

Of course the GOP War on Women continues to shut down PP centers throughout America.
While they say they want women to take responsibility for their reproductive needs, they
viciously attack the one place where women can get these services.

The one place? what was the last time you went to any convenient store or pharmacy, birth control is right between the batteries and Q-tips. By the way the GOP hasn't shut down anything, every PP could have remained open if those who preached how great they were donated to them, but we all know the left won't put up their own dough. You expect others to pay for a place you consider "rights", I wonder if you would support the government using tax dollars to fund gun stores since those are also rights.

Henry must have not gotten enough sleep last night... his posts seem so confused.

~ Birth control for WOMEN in the form of a pill needs a doctor's prescription, which can be difficult for
women in red states since that is where ObamaCare is outlawed and where the largest number of
uninsured women live.   No prescription, no birth control pills,( except at PP where a Dr will examine
and prescribe at no or little charge.)

~ "You expect others to pay for a place you consider "rights"" No.  I would expect US Politicians
to protect the place where Americans receive their health care... not pass legislation to shut
them down!

~Continuing with Henry's confusion,  " I wonder if you would support the government using tax
dollars to fund gun stores since those are also rights."
???????????????????????????????
Henry... I know this goes against your religion but OWNING A GUN IS NOT A RIGHT in the USA.

So the pill is the only form of birth control to box and only PP can save the day LMAO and again nobody shut down PP, you could of donated to keep them open but you didn't. Its the same story every time and more excuses to cry about the evil conservatives even though the power to keep them open was in your hands the whole time.

Henry... ya really gotta get your FACTS before you post.
The GOP War On Women didn't shut down PP by removing their funds...
They legislated them out of existence by decree.

It's Not GOVT Funding Henry... It's GOP Forcing Their Religious Beliefs On Others:
Quoted Text
TEXAS: Over 90 percent of Texas women already live in a county without an
abortion clinic. But Republican lawmakers in the state want that number to rise even further.
The legislature is advancing a TRAP measure that could force most of the state’s 38 abortion
clinics to shut down. SB 537 would require all clinics that perform abortions to adhere to the
same standards as surgical clinics — even though many of them simply administer the
abortion pill to women, which is not actually a surgical procedure.

It's Not GOVT Funding Henry... It's GOP Forcing Their Religious Beliefs On Others:
Quoted Text
MISSISSIPPI: Just like North Dakota, Mississippi only has one abortion clinic left in
the entire state. And Republican lawmakers there have already successfully forced through
a TRAP measure, which became law at the beginning of this year. The new restrictions
require the clinic’s doctors to secure hospital admitting privileges, but all seven hospitals
in the surrounding area have denied them — and Mississippi’s last abortion clinic is awaiting
a hearing that will determine whether it is allowed to continue operating.

It's Not GOVT Funding Henry... It's GOP Forcing Their Religious Beliefs On Others:
Quoted Text
NORTH CAROLINA: North Carolina is getting in on the TRAP action with SB 308, a bill filed
about two weeks ago. Even though women in the state already have to overcome several
hurdles before terminating a pregnancy — including undergoing a 24-hour waiting period,
participating in a mandatory counseling session, and listening to a doctor describe the
images resulting from a forced ultrasound — Republicans also want to over-regulate abortion
clinics with a bill similar to Mississippi’s.

We are advised NOT to judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.   Funny how that works.

you want to take "gender studies" or social work, then you won't make as much as the man who studies finance and goes to Wall Street and works in the pressure cooker.

Many women, even in the same field, take a less aggressive and less financially rewarding route. For instance- Woman A studies medicine and wants to serve the under-served so she goes to work in a clinic in the "ghetto." Man B decides he wants to pursue Orthopedic Surgery. Who do you suspect shall make more?
In Finance and business many young women decide they want the reward of working for non-profits and think tanks, rather than to go to work in securities. Who will make more? A bond trader or the local comptroller for the March of Dimes. Mind you the comptroller has three kids, took time off to get them into school and had a six year hiatus from her career. The bond trader leaves for work at 5:30am and comes home at about 8pm. He has a stay-at-home wife and three kids and even have some domestic help. The comptroller and her family struggles each month financially while trying to save for retirement and kids' college, but has the luxury to come home around 5pm each day to have dinner with her kids. So she is rewarded ina  different way, one would think

I am giving you real world examples of people I went to college with, for those of you who understand what academics is (we will exclude the uneducated Box and J.O. Box from these discussions since they really have no clue how any of this works.) SO it is easy to cry "DISCRIMINATION" without really looking at the real causes of the so-called wage gap.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Poor Cracker Graham... He tries and tries to impress us with his "degree", but no one is
impressed, (no one except Graham of course)!

bowing down to kiss my boots... I AM A COLLEGE GRADUATE!"

you have no right to carry a flag for women....

Mike Huckabee continues the GOP’s war on lady parts.
"During a lunch at the Republican National Committee (RNC)’s yearly white guy hate-fest, the former
governor of Arkansas and ’08 GOP candidate for the White House got all Dr. Joyce Brothers on them,
when he weighed in on women, birth control, and their libidos."

Quoted Text

Mike Huckabee, who came very close to being the GOP’s presidential candidate in 2008 with his folksy
Jesus freakdom, explained to the audience how the Democratic party thinks ladies need Uncle Sam to
control their sex drives.

“If the Democrats want to insult the women of America by making them believe that they are helpless
without Uncle Sugar coming in and providing them with a prescription each month for birth control,
because cannot control their libido or their reproductive system without the help of the government,
then so be it ” said Mike Huckabee at the RNC luncheon.

More safe?  Yes there is legislation pending about "Buffer Zones" to keep those working and those
visiting Abortion Clinics safer from angry hostile and often out of control mobs of "right to lifers".

I do support those actions to keep clinics 'safe' from a real threat.
