I agree with Michael. I don't know why you all are so hostile towards everyone with aliases. Yeah, I know I'm posting from an alias, but I'm not saying anything that I wouldn't say to anyone's face...

Why bring it up now? This is laughable. What next Mertz stole a lawn sign?-lol-It's obvious that the status quo losers are worried about the rising popularity of the NNTP.
Benny there is good reason to bring it up. Mertz seems to have a pattern of physical and verbal abuse/violence. Is this a platform the NNTP would like to run on? The populairty of the NNTP is dwindling between Mertz's rage and BL's rants they will need a whole new look.

I've had worse said to me by my football coach in high school and in college. (call the cops???? ) I guess GP never played a 'contact sport'!
It's all smoke and mirrors at it's best. However....keep it up. Mertzie and the NNTP is gaining even more support. The local reps are like rats trapped in a corner. They know that they will never win another election as long as the NNTP is in existence. So instead of getting new leadership and building on what they have,(which takes work), they take the easy way out and try to discredit the NNTP at any cost.
They tried to do the same thing to fdg....remember???? They elevate themselves by 'trying' to discredit others.

If someone threatened my life on the blog, wouldn't it be appropriate to contact the admins to track the person down and alert police? I would think so...
I would love to see how some of you would respond to a death threat...I would go right to the police!!!!!
Hmmm... It's interesting. "The Comp. was advised of his rights and requested no action be taken at this time other then a matter of record." And "outrageous and threatening comments were made".
Did our wonderful RPD take any statements from Mr. Mertz? Is it the responsibility for our investigators to investigate alleged "death threats"?
A police chief who is politically active in the Conservative Party and openly dislikes Mr. Mertz, and Parisi the Republican Party boss who doesn't like and recently un-endorsed Mr. Mertz. Gee, how convenient. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Why vote the NNTP you ask? Because as you can see, party bosses and politically motivated police brass can squash the voice of our elected representation. John Mertz was elected by the people of Rotterdam and the party bosses from the Rep and Con party took down a sitting representative. As you see, our democracy is easily manipulated, and I believe this to be absolute proof. Was this document obtained through FOIL, OR was it printed off by somebody inside our police department?
The NNTP will have a full slate of candidates across the county and perhaps outside the county in 2011. We also have a candidate who will run for the Rotterdam Town Board seat currently held by Parisi in the Nov 2010 Special Election.
Both the Republican and the Democrat parties will see their stranglehold on the residents and their grip on power loosened soon. The more that you lie, distort and deceive, the easier will be the victory. Thanks for making our job easier.
