I apologize Michael for my remarks.  I certainly know how difficult it can be to dabble in this nonsense when personal matters are taking center stage in ones life.  I am glad you are willing to weigh in when possible and find it rewarding that you are willing to sit back and then assess.  Smart move.  Again I apologize for my post.

Good luck in what ever direction you chose to go Michael.

Thanks, shadow.  I still care and I'm still paying attention.  But what I do is less important than what WE do.  Hopefully, the NNTP attempt has inspired others to care a little more and maybe find ways to contribute more positively and effectively.

If nothing else the NNTP party opened up a lot of eyes and pulled a lot more votes than some people thought they would. Again good luck to you Michael and I enjoyed meeting the great people who supported the NNTP party and also for meeting You, Brad, Brian, and John and who knows what the future holds in store.

Absolutely no need to apologize.     You're not the only person who thinks I've dropped off the face of the planet.  But there have been several purposefully false statements about me on this forum lately that I thought it necessary to clarify what I'm doing.  I've said it before and I'll say it once again...anything you "hear" about me can easily and quickly be verified or discredited simply by contacting me directly with a PM or email.

Michael, I know I'm being selfish here, but I hope you choose to run again someday! I and many others would support you!

If you don't, then let me say 'thank you' for everything you have done.

I have learned to never say never.  Right now, politics takes a back seat to the needs of my family.

I applaud you in putting your family ahead of all of this.  You were a fine candidate and when the time is right and if the interest remains many folks will be waiting to pull the lever for you again.  This board does more to hurt people than help them.  I hope you have a happy and healthy New Year for you and your family.

Does more to expose the corruption maybe, perhaps "hurt" the candidates by exposing lies and mistruths - that's about it.

From what I’ve heard, the Republicans have
tried to talk with the NNTP and the NNTP basically said that unless they
are in charge they will continue to sink Republicans.

The paper said that the REPS are extending an "olive branch" to NNTP. Their term not mine. Let's wait until the dust settles to attack the NNTP that ran some quality candidates.

As far as Michael, respect his wishes. He has a bright future in whatever he decides to do.

Do you sheople read the newspaper?  Buchanan is finished like an old piece of steak--cooked through and nobody wants it.  Republicans need new leadership.  Mertz would be a big improvement as would Buffalo Bob Smith.  From the posts I have seen from Bumble, although I don't always agree, he would be a fine town chairman.  Also make room for Brad.

Thank goodness....although 'saving' the party is last on my list.......here BOTH parties stand at a crossroads, certainly not looking
across at eachother but sidely.....NNTP maybe not a name in it's own right but, a growth from the countrywide expressions......

It's certainly not worth saving the bodys if the blood is full of unchecked reproduction of an untreatable disease......

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Bumble we ALL are the sheople--if not today then maybe tomorrow.  But sheople nontheless.  You Bumble, even though we don't always agree, I think we could find some common ground, I think YOU would be very good leading the party in town.  Of course then again you accuse me of being idiotic but still I think you could bring some dignity back to the party.  What was the result of the meeting tonight?  Do we know yet?

Still waiting! It wouldn't surprise me one bit, if they all walk out with the same team/leaders they walked in with! >
