And the DEMS are laughing all the way to the bank. The DEMS want Howdy Doody to keep "leading".

Yep, they couldn't pick a better "leader" than Buchannan. He's done more good for the Democratic
Party than any Dem could.

GB ~ That's why the Republicans are doomed.  It already has happened and Godlewski and the Dems are going to blow this wide open.  Tommasone and Jerry (ha, another Tom & Jerry), won't have an answer for what Godlewski is going to bring to the public eye.  Godlewski wins, not because he's any great public servant, but because he's not afraid to expose the corruption or what some would consider to be corruption.  Republicans won't be able to run away from Tom & Jerry fast enough and your buddy Surhada and his running mate will get caught in the crossfire.

I hope this isn't going to be another 'pearl gun handle' thing again is it? That bombed!

I think they called it the "smoking gun."

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Wrong again bumble  We are seeing the remnents of the "smoking gun, pearl handle" scandel unfold before our eyes.  The dems smack around mertz and signore and Steve in that one to lay the ground work for this election.  Too late for Tommy Gun and Gerry to stop the onslaught.  The Dems are united, fresh and fully focused to give back the government to the people of Rotterdam.  You don't mess with long time public officials and residents the way Steve and his cronies did and do.  Its over in a few short weeks!!!

There are bombshell allegations that Steve doesn't even know are brewing!!!  He will cry negative but the proof is in the Puddy!!!!  HeHeHe

I can't defend the assessor personally because I have heard lots of complaints from people AS IN THE CITY, so I won't. But when you medal with his work by attempting to intervene on behalf of a taxpayer then you are returning to the day of olde in Rotterdam, and THAT is not going to happen. There are other avenues. The Supervisor or anyone else can' "tell him" to lower someone's taxes.

Yea oka  GB  How bout the Billy Fucillo HUGE reduction Surprise gave to Steve's brother Dan Tomassone on Shardon??  Do you think that didn't have something to do with Mr Surprise's appt???  Da Nile is a river in Egypt there GB you are in it!  LOL

County lists more
primary results

SCHENECTADY — The Schenectady County Board of Elections has released additional unoffi cial results from Tuesday’s primary.
In the Working Families Party primary for the District 4 Legislative race, Judith Dagostino, a Democrat, and Mike Viscusi, a Republican, won the line for the Nov. 3 election. Dagostino is running for re-election to the county Legislature. District 4 covers Rotterdam, Duanesburg and Princetown.
In the Conservative primary for District 3, Democrats Susan Savage, Martin Finn and Brian Gordon kept the line. They are seeking re-election to the Legislature representing Niskayuna and Glenville.
In the Working Families primary for Rotterdam Town Board, Robert Godlewski and Matthew Martin kept the line for the general election, fending off an opportunity to ballot challenge from Joe Suhrada, a Republican running for town councilman, and Joe Signore, an incumbent Republican running for town councilman.
Kenneth Litz won the Working Families primary for town justice in Rotterdam and Jim Longo won the Working Families line for highway superintendent in Rotterdam.

If that is true why did Tommasone's other brother have his taxes go up? When you do a reval, as John Paolino claimed, some taxes go up, some go down, and some stay the same. Mine went up. Was that because of Steve telling Surprise to raise mine? the reality is that you are so blind with hate that you want to ascribe criminal motive. Maybe you will get sued by Dan Tommasone now since he is not a public figure? You are claiming he engaged in a conspiracy with his brother? Wow. Call the FBI.

...that is the problem living a small town. When you have family and anything like that happens it s automatically determined by the coffee clatch that there was a conspiracy by gumba gangsters. Steve could hardly have ordered an assessment for his brother any more than I gave George Bush orders to go to war in Iraq because I had Haliburton stock. It is so stupid.

Does this mean that if someone is related or friends with someone in office, they will never be able to dispute their taxes until that person in office is out?

That don't seem right.

Wll Pg13--I apologize.  I am new to this blogging business.  Was just looking to quickly catch up.  As a very
liberal Dem (yes none of which small-minded Rotterdam has ever seen) I just wanted to be sure that Howdy Doody was who I thought it could be.  Not sure if you were referring to a Howdy Doody look-alike or an empty wood-headed politico.  Please forgive my political naivete.

No silly Dan Tomassone's assessment is public info.  It dropped the year after the reval.  Why would he sue me???  For questioning his assessment decrease???  A better way to clarify the issue would be for Steve to come clean as to why many assessments went down after Craig Surprise took office.  (Rumor has it a list was compiled by Lynn Fiorillo in his office during the 2007 campaign.  Trade votes for assessment decreases?  Not Steve?) Maybe you had relatives, friends and politicos on that list GB.  I hope not for your sake because you is soooo clean, high and mighty!

Have you ever seen Shardon Ct. assessments?  Take a look at this one.  It's nearly 4000 sq ft with finished basement rec room, but the 1000 sq ft finished basement doesn't figure in to total living area.  More square footage and more land than most houses in that neighborhood, yet assessed less.  I wish I knew the formula on how they come up with these numbers.

This one list finished area over garage, and that DOES figure into total living area.  I don't understand.
