So you belong to the Lesbian Church of Latter Day Feminazi Saints?
I'm just throwing that out there by playing the odds that your 'leader' (I noticed that you never said pastor or priest...a general male title) is a short haired lesbian in a white robe?

I don't think it makes any difference on whether it is a pastor or priest or male or female or black or white....it's the subject at hand. This happens to be a 'christian' church that has a new gay leader and is expressing the desire to officiate same sex/transgender marriages. This leader said that the issue had to be addressed due to the concern of a potential law suit if the church ever refused. I thought churches were exempt from the government laws when it came to same sex/transgender marriages. And does that mean that all muslim temples and jewish temples will be forced to officiate same sex/transgender marriages also?

Whats a wedding ? What kind of ' paperwork ' are you talking about ?
What I mean is do you get any paperwork/credentials that will let you collect your spouses Social Security benefits after they die ? You know- like people that are actually married.

the paper work gets filed with the town/county/city the marriage is performed in. yes, they are actually, legally married under our government system that we live in/under.

Looks like the leader of your radical leftist "christian" church is either just another SJW looking to make a name for him/her/it self or is completely uneducated,
Churches are exempt from performing marriages, gay or otherwise, if it's against church doctrine. You can't force a church to marry a hetro couple if the bride to be is Jewish. Or a non-Muslim to a Muslim in a mosque. Or the Catholic church to marry two Catholic women
One other thing. If your denomination is against gay marriage, but your 'leader' is pushing it, then you should either leave your church and find another in line with your beliefs or remove this usurper for trying to undermine your religious beliefs.

I hope the transgender remembers to change thier name from Denny to Destiny BEFORE getting married. The Drivers license passport and even the birth certificate probably needs to change too.

Before we 'left the church' we said exactly what you just posted....didn't matter. It went up for a vote and 'we lost'. The ones of us who didn't agree, were told we didn't share the 'love of Christ'. btw - the denomination is actually 'splitting' over the issue. Oh well, on to the next church.
Thanks for the input/discussion.
