Shannon Street is a small road that runs between Broadway and Wemple Street in the city's Bellevue neighborhood.Police continue to investigate the deaths Thursday morning. But an official familiar with the case but not authorized to discuss it publicly said it is likely that one of the people was killed before the killer turned the weapons on him or herself.Police descended on the home after getting reports of gunfire at 9:25 a.m. Wednesday.
At the home, they found two "individuals who had sustained gunshot wounds," police said in a press release Wednesday.
Shannon Street is on the west end of the city off Broadway. The street is in the Bellevue neighborhood, not far from Hillhurst Park.
A woman who lives down the street said she watched a flood of police and paramedics flood onto the street Wednesday night. She said ambulances left without sirens.
A neighbor described area as tight-knit. "We all look out for each other," she said.
