ROTTERDAM — Two men were stealing fuel from a piece of heavy equipment at a construction site on the Mohonasen High School Campus early Wednesday, police said. Police said an officer found two men on the Center for Science and Technology site at Mohonasen, 2017 Curry Rd., using a siphon to steal fuel. The men are also accused of stealing construction materials from inside the site, which police found with them. Duane M. Harding, 19, of Amsterdam, and Thomas N. Rushia, 20, of Rotterdam, are charged both charged with third-degree burglary, a felony, possession of burglar's tools, petit larceny, attempted petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
