Do you know who has beautiful national parks? Vietnam. Protecting their natural beauty from napalm, agent orange, land mines, and depleted uranium.
You should go, and while there visit there underground tunnel system....amazing. Watch out for the trip wires, booby traps and pungy sticks. Don't give in to the urge to kick that can on the ground, it might not be a friendly experience. Slow down driving through the area for the limping child crossing the road....just make sure your windows are closed. That little guy running the fruit stand...well, I'll leave it at that. Hope you enjoy the trip and maybe they can give you the "real" historical story.
