I recall this being the case every Xmas season....are you saying this is unique because of the crime? Then I guess crime is up in every location where there is a lot of customer traffic for Holidays, because they ALL beef up security at that time of the year!!!!

I know that Hannaford beefed up security in their parking lot recently.
that has always been a magnet for shop lifters and pan handlers AND drug sales.
