She said at last weeks council meeting, speaking about the Chrismas, err, holiday parade, that there was a record high number of spectators.

She's a dreamer or she can't count.

There was somewhere between 20,000 to 25,000

Back prior to when Stratton moved it to before Thanksgiving, and McTHIEF keeping it prior to Thanksgiving, there used to be 60,000 and more in attendance.

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

She may be a dreamer - but at least she is actually DOING something besides hiding behind a username to whine and complain.
Also, it has been a long, long time since there were 60,000 people in attendance at the Christmas parade -- a lot farther back than 10 years ago. Although, certain folks will find ways to blame Stratton and McCarthy for everything bad that has happened to Schenectady.  I am surprised that the nayboobs haven't accused Statton and McCarthy for holding the stockade gates open so that the French could burn Schenectady 300 years ago.
