I have noticed that since the casino was approved there have been loads of businesses moving in.. Along with several luxury apartment buildings opening up that I am betting a lot of the people in Schenectady cannot afford. I make a moderate income at my jobs, but this has me worried that in a few years I won't be able to afford to live here..does anybody have thoughts in regard to this?

The NYPD's 26th precinct, which covers Morningside Heights and parts of West Harlem, tweeted out Monday that electric hoverboards are illegal according to NYC Admin.

The now deleted tweet read:

"Be advised that the electric 3hoverboard is illegal as per Admin. Code 19-176.2."

I heard the luxury apartments are basically to house long term consultants that come in for the surrounding businesses (GE, Golub, union, Ellis, eventually the casino, etc) that are now getting put up in dumpy little  studios in places like the Hampshire Apartments.
