We remember going there after league bowling at Boulevard quite some years ago (that's why I know it was near and after 9 pm) with others from the league.

We went once since the new ones took over but it was more dinner time.

We had some friends who went there after getting out of a movie at that bow tie, they said it was about 7:45, one customer and they were getting ready to close up, they close at 8 pm.

Seems odd for a downtown restaurant to close so early.

Also interesting is that in an open market, arms length transaction, the current owners paid $200,000 for the property, but McTHIEF has REFUSED to assess the property in accordance with it's market value and equalization rate.   It is assessed for just $170,400.  Based on the sale price, McCarthy and his unqualified assessor are in violation of state law.  With a market value of $200,00 an equalization rate, that building MUST be reassessed to $242,000.

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

They are not the only ones. A major eatery closer to Proctor's is also way down in sales. Everything closes up early Downtown. Playgoers will run to their cars and leave Downtown as soon as the show ends.
Great to hear that the eyesores at Erie/State will finally hit the wrecking ball. But where is the first floor retail? Will see how many renters flock to an area with no schools, no groceries and no retail.

I'm sure the reps would have taken the METROPLEX/GILLEN tax money and funneled it to 'their friends and family club'!!

what a joke!!!
