SCHENECTADY - A man was stabbed in the back Tuesday morning at a Germania Avenue home, police said.

Stabbed inside 322 Germania Ave., at about 8:15 a.m., the man was taken to Ellis Hospital where he was expected to recover from his injuries, police said.

The man's identity was not immediately released to the public.

Police said they have a suspect in the case and expect to file charges sometime Tuesday.

Police said they will not describe the relationship between the suspect and victim until charges are filed.
