The houses on Consaul, Keyes, and Lakewood, look how much they have fallen in value under the leadership of Stratton & McCarthy
And then look at this. Take note of the MULTIPLE REDUCTIONS in asking price. Now, IF these houses sold for the current asking prices, then the houses would be assessed for the percentage of market value as indicated in the right column. The ones highlighted in red are those for which the homeowners are paying LESS TAXES THAN THEY SHOULD. And look at the houses on Consaul and Michigan - those percentages mean they are MASSIVELY OVERPAYING taxes
Now remember this what McCarthy said in May:
Quoted Text
The equalization rate this year is 121 percent of a property’s market value.
McCarthy said the assessment is designed to ensure property owners are paying their fair share of taxes.
“We want to make sure there is fairness in the tax roll,” he said, adding that he believes there is fairness now.“People feel they are being over-assessed, but really what they have to look at is the total tax levy.”
Funny that those who say McCarthy should be re-elected refuse to address the massive un-fairness in the taxes and McCarthy's FLAT OUT REFUSAL to reassess the whole city immediately.

anyone besides me see a conflict of interest here during the election cycle?
Wrong colors? Red and green is Christmas If so, that was not intentional

LMAO....NO!! serious now...MCCARTHYS USING A CITY PAID PROGRAM FOR HIS POLITICAL BENEFIT!!!
"City" paid?
It's TAXPAYER paid. A reason the taxes in the city of Schenectady are among, if not the, highest in the state.
Naturally we all know that the assessments are the highest over assessed in the state and that FACT about the city is based on the equalization rate of 121%. But of course most of us know that most homes in the city are over assessed even more than 121%.
But that all said, McTHIEF's "HOMES program" is, what, about 4 years now he's been using the taxpayers money to have this program and yet in all those years there has NEVER, NOT EVER, been a list of all houses that were part of the open house from day 1 through the current day, listing the addresses, assessment values, initial asking price, well, put it this way ALL the pieces of information I provide. The mayor NEVER published that information NOT EVER. He and his cronies keep bragging that "it's so successful" but the FACT is that when you look at all the houses on his open house tours, far less than half have sold, and the vast majority have sold way under the assessment value.
The homeowners of the city have a birthright entitlement to see the list of all houses on the taxpayer funded open house tours with ALL the details that I provide including the sale prices, in fact the previous sale prices of sales that took place anytime in the past 10 years---to see how the home values have FALLEN under Stratton and McCarthy while they were spending the homeowners' tax money to give it to their millionaire and billionaire cronies and building or renovating for them the palaces downtown that are not paying full taxes.

And what do you do about it MC1? All I see is the same blah blah blah, you hiding behind your keyboard ranting, do something if your so much better!
Perhaps this gets printed and passed around, e-mailed (but McTHIEF's newspapers won't publish it despite that the residents have a birthright entitlement to know.
And it's FACTS, i.e., the truth

my apology...that's what i meant to put... how about roger getting equal taxpayer funded exposure?
No problem, I was more busting on you
