I saw a campaign flyer that McCarthy has floating around with a few Guyanese featured on it. This is an attempt by McCarthy to exploit the Guyanese to vote for him. Got news for McCarthy I have spoken to many Guyanese and they hate McCarthy's guts! During McCarthy tenure as Mayor he has deployed his code enforcement officers to target the Guyanese. The Guyanese are mad and will vote for Roger Hull.

Its an excellent article. It sounds much like the Italians a hundred years ago. - except the city was going full steam a head . then many of the young 20 somethings started heading west. The mom dad grand pa and grandma stayed. Get it ? They worked their business until things started to evaporate IN THE 50 S AND 60 S . Schenectady was a stepping stone not a place to park your a**.

Half the problem is, the registered voters in this city are, for a good part, RENTERS, who are registered to vote, but don't have the responsibility of taxes, fines, fees, etc. I know that sounds like MC1, but when you don't have a financial interest in the property or your city/town - voters can be bought. Bought by Food Stamps, healthcare, free cell phones, etc.

there are robberies/murders/thefts and they said that most of the crime is committed by the police!
they do all agree that it is beautiful there.....but the corruption 'in higher places' is unbearable!!

I work with a lot of Guyanese who said their country used to be beautiful and full of farm land and everyone had all they wanted... then...............
we happened.....because they didn't live in 4 bedroom center hall colonials and had to actually walk places that they "must hate it".......
