As head of the Canal Corp, why wouldn't you expect him to tour this area and do it as part of his duties ON THE TAXPAYER DIME? If he didn't tour the site, people would complain that he's not doing his job, and question why...and complain he's being paid taxpayer money and not doing his job. Guess some people are just never satisfied!
JUST BECAUSE SISSY SAYS SO DOESN'T MAKE IT SO...BUT HE THINKS IT DOES!!!!! JUST BECAUSE MC1 SAYS SO DOESN'T MAKE IT SO!!!!!
I'm not a fan of st-st-st-stratton....but I don't think it's unusual that he would be at this particular location considering his position....no?
is it newsworthy.....nope.

I would expect him to show up for a photo op, to look as if he were doing something useful. It was the headline ahead of the visit that I found rather ridiculous and excessive. I see from the update that McCheese was there as well. He can't even manage to appear to be doing something useful.

Ah yes...that's the paranoid way to look at things, as usual!

2. The high paid political crony top dog did NOT need to tour it, after all, the ONLY thing he knows is "the water goes in, the boats up...." (or however that sound byte went)
3. The ONLY person needed to see the place (from the state workforce level) is the engineer in charge and any subordinates who have anything to do with this.
4. Clearly a photo-up for a high paid political crony taking place on the taxpayer dime
5. This ex full of BS lives in the city, if he's so nosy, he can take an afternoon of vacation or personal time and drive his own car over there and take a walk
Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
Thank you! I thought the original headline, the one with the link, was silly, evidently so did others, so the paper changed it, but now they've actually got 15 silly photos. Fifteen.
sorry....but I don't look at this as a photo op. sta-sta-sta-stratton doesn't need it anymore. he already has a cushy job FOR LIFE. and the others like mcmayor don't need sta-sta-stratton to help his campaign.

I look at it as Stratton wanting to attach himself to this project, the way McCheese has, and some headline writer going overboard in service of that goal. If it isn't a photo op, why the photos?
#1) I find it disgraceful that someone has to make fun of a person with a speech impediment. #2) If certain people think something is not newsworthy -- why do they spend so much time talking about it?

oh th...th...the same people that should be disgraced for overtaxing the home owners while giving that same tax money to the rich connected family and friends? and th...th...the same people that should be disgraced for giving himself a raise at that the taxpayers couldn't afford?
