We never had murders in Hamilton Hill prior to the crack epidemic. We didn't have crime. Honest. We were at statistical zero. As the drug dealers from NYC moved up here, we went from zero to OMG! Don't shoot the messenger. This is what happened.
Messenger is wrong. I grew up there. There were murders at a bar called the Paige Inn that had nothing to do with the drug trade.
