Yes.  This one is for GunHuggers.  They may not recognize themselves in the video,
but it's how the rest of America and the world sees them.

Call it a PSA for GunHuggers!

Brady Announces New, Extra-strength Gun Control

from Angel Shamaya
KeepAndBearArms.com

[corny radio announcer's voice]

Sarah Brady of the Handgun Control Brady Campaign to Make You Easier to Kill has just made a major announcement today. Due to the fact that the ban on sawed off shotguns isn't keeping young punks from attacking decent citizens, her Board of Criminal Empowerment got together and devised a new, extra-strength gun control measure, called a Double Ban. Though details of the plan are still sketchy, the Gun Prohibition Queen said she's sure that "the additional law double-banning violent actions is sure to make bad people go away."

Said Mrs. Brady, "if this Double Ban doesn't stop these poor children from being possessed by gun demons, we're hard at work on a Super Triple Ban, too. We're going to legislate criminal activity off of the face of this planet, just like it was before guns were invented."

The Princess of Modern Gun Restriction, Rosie O'Donnell was very excited about the announcement. After her brilliant talkshow this afternoon in which she explained how the solution for global warming was for everyone to turn their air conditioners on high at the same time each afternoon for 10 minutes, she explained how "sometimes, the first gun ban doesn't work for some people. With this second gun ban, people who developed a resistance to the first gun ban will be caught in the net, you know, and, like, then they'll obey the law."

Ms. O'Donnell had to cut her interview short today to attend a promotion for her new book, "I'm Way Smarter Than America's Founding Fathers." Due out next week, critics are raving about everything they learned from Rosie's latest exposé. She did give us one piece of wisdom she gained in her exhaustive, four-years of dedicated research. "Though most of us were taught that guns were pivotal in helping America claim and maintain her independence," she explained to a packed room of reporters who were hanging on her every word, "it turns out that those were all lies passed off by right wing extremists trying to overthrow the legitimate government that had been peaceably installed by King George back in 1773."

CBS' world famous anchorman Dan Rather was on hand to support Ms. O'Donnell and said, "It's a fascinating read. You should go out and buy 10 copies to give to friends, and if you don't, you'll keep believing the lies you've been told. Ms. O'Donnell is the quintessential expert in these matters, and her ratings prove it."

You can get a personally autographed copy of "I'm Way Smarter Than America's Founding Fathers" by Rosie O'Donnell by going to http://www.GunsAreReallyReallyScary.com. Click on the picture of the dead girl who was shot by her crackhead boyfriend, then go to the section on the page called "America is Still Part of Great Britain."

40 Reasons To Implement Gun Control --

40 Reasons To Implement Gun Control:

1. Banning guns works, which is why New York, DC, and Chicago cops need guns.
2. Washington DC's low murder rate of 69 per 100,000 is due to strict gun control, and Indianapolis' high murder rate of 9 per 100,000 is due to the lack of gun control.
3. Statistics showing high murder rates justify gun control but statistics showing increasing murder rates after gun control are "just statistics".
4. The Brady Bill and the Assault Weapons Ban, both of which went into effect in 1994, are responsible for the decrease in violent crime rates, which have been declining since 1991.
5. We must get rid of guns because a deranged lunatic may go on a shooting spree at any time and anyone who would own a gun out of fear of such a lunatic is paranoid.
6. The more helpless you are the safer you are from criminals.
7. An intruder will be incapacitated by tear gas or oven spray, but if shot with a .357 Magnum will get angry and kill you.
8. A woman raped and strangled is morally superior to a woman with a smoking gun and a dead rapist at her feet.
9. When confronted by violent criminals, you should "put up no defense-give them what they want, or run" (Handgun Control Inc. Chairman Pete Shields, Guns Don't Die - People Do, 1981, p. 125).
10. The New England Journal of Medicine is filled with expert advice about guns; just like Guns and Ammo has some excellent treatises on heart surgery.
11. One should consult an automotive engineer for safer seatbelts, a civil engineer for a better bridge, a surgeon for internal medicine, a computer programmer for hard drive problems, and Sarah Brady for firearms expertise.
12. The 2nd Amendment, ratified in 1787, refers to the National Guard, which was created 130 years later, in 1917.
13. The National Guard, federally funded, with bases on federal land, using federally-owned weapons vehicles buildings and uniforms, punishing trespassers under federal law, is a "state" militia.
14. These phrases; "right of the people peaceably to assemble ", "right of the people to be secure in their homes", "enumerations herein of certain rights shall not be construed to disparage others retained by the people", and "The powers not delegated herein are reserved to the states respectively, and to the people."all refer to individuals, but "the right of the people to keep and bear arms." refers to the state.
15. "The Constitution is strong and will never change." But we should ban and seize all guns thereby violating the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Amendments to that Constitution.
16. Rifles and handguns aren't necessary to national defense! Of course, the army has hundreds of thousands of them.
17. Private citizens shouldn't have handguns, because they aren't "military weapons", but private citizens shouldn't have "assault rifles", because they are military weapons.
18. In spite of waiting periods, background checks, fingerprinting, government forms, etc., guns today are too readily available, which is responsible for recent school shootings. In the 1940's, 1950's and 1960's, anyone could buy guns at hardware stores, army surplus stores, gas stations, variety stores, Sears mail order, no waiting, no background check, no fingerprints, no government forms and there were no school shootings.
19. The NRA's attempt to run a "don't touch" campaign about kids handling guns is propaganda, but the anti-gun lobby's attempt to run a "don't touch" campaign is responsible social activity.
20. Guns are so complex that special training is necessary to use them properly, and so simple to use that they make murder easy.
21. A handgun, with up to 4 controls, is far too complex for the typical adult to learn to use, as opposed to an automobile that only has 20.
22. Women are just as intelligent and capable as men, but a woman with gun is "an accident waiting to happen" and gun makers' advertisements aimed at women are "preying on their fears."
23. Ordinary people in the presence of guns turn into slaughtering butchers but revert to normal when the weapon is removed.
24. Guns cause violence, which is why there are so many mass killings at gun shows.
25. A majority of the population supports gun control, just like a majority of the population supported owning slaves.
26. Any self-loading small arm can legitimately be considered to be a "weapon of mass destruction" or an "assault weapon."
27. Most people can't be trusted, so we should have laws against guns, which most people will abide by because they can be trusted.
28. The right of Internet pornographers to exist cannot be questioned because it is constitutionally protected by the Bill of Rights, but the use of handguns for self defense is not really protected by the Bill of Rights.
29. Free speech entitles one to own newspapers, transmitters, computers, and typewriters, but self-defense only justifies bare hands.
30. The ACLU is good because it uncompromisingly defends certain parts of the Constitution, and the NRA is bad, because it defends other parts of the Constitution.
31. Charlton Heston, a movie actor as president of the NRA is a cheap lunatic who should be ignored, but Michael Douglas, a movie actor as a representative of Handgun Control, Inc. is an ambassador for peace who is entitled to an audience at the UN arms control summit.
32. Police operate with backup within groups, which is why they need larger capacity pistol magazines than "civilians" who must face criminals alone and therefore need less ammunition.
33. We should ban "Saturday Night Specials" and other inexpensive guns because it's not fair that poor people have access to guns too.
34. Police officers have some special Jedi-like mastery over handguns that private citizens can never hope to obtain.
35. Private citizens don't need a gun for self-protection because the police are there to protect them even though the Supreme Court says the police are not responsible for their protection.
36. Citizens don't need to carry a gun for personal protection but police chiefs, who are desk-bound administrators who work in a building filled with cops, need a gun.
37. "Assault weapons" have no purpose other than to kill large numbers of people. The police need assault weapons. You do not.
38. When Microsoft pressures its distributors to give Microsoft preferential promotion, that's bad; but when the Federal government pressures cities to buy guns only from Smith & Wesson, that's good.
39. Trigger locks do not interfere with the ability to use a gun for defensive purposes, which is why you see police officers with one on their duty weapon.
40. Handgun Control, Inc., says they want to "keep guns out of the wrong hands." Guess what? You have the wrong hands.

When Gun Control Satire Becomes Reality
Daniel J. Mitchell | Dec 28, 2012

Back in my less sophisticated days (shocking as it may seem, I wasn’t always the mature, statesmanlike figure I am today), I sometimes resorted to silly arguments when debating gun control, such as, “does this mean you want to ban knives since they also can be used to kill people?”

Smarter opponents would scoff and accuse me of knocking down straw men, assuming a non-existent slippery slope, or engaging in reductio ad absurdum.

I wasn’t even sure what the last one meant, but I secretly felt chagrined because I also thought the argument was nonsense. But it’s not like we had the Internet back in those days so I could quickly peruse the writings of John Lott or David Kopel.

Well, I no longer need to feel shame. It turns out that my straw man came to life and he’s sliding down a slope into a big pool of whatever that reductio thing is.

I kid you not. There’s a supposedly civilized nation that is seriously talking about banning long kitchen knives.

I’ll give you a couple of hints to help you figure out what country is considering this bizarre policy.

It’s the country that wanted to prevent children from watching Olympic shooting events.
It’s the country that arrested a man for finding a gun in his yard and turning it over to the police.
It’s the country that imposed a prohibition on the use of starting pistols at races lest children get frightened by the noise.

Yes, I’m talking about our friends in the United Kingdom.

They make some decent movies and they have cute accents, but they seem totally clueless about how to fight crime and the notion of individual rights appears to be a totally alien concept.

So the nation that once ruled half the world actually has contemplated whether to ban certain kitchen knives. Here are some details from a 2005 BBC report.

A&E doctors are calling for a ban on long pointed kitchen knives to reduce deaths from stabbing. …The research is published in the British Medical Journal. The researchers said there was no reason for long pointed knives to be publicly available at all. …The researchers say legislation to ban the sale of long pointed knives would be a key step in the fight against violent crime. …Home Office spokesperson said there were already extensive restrictions in place to control the sale and possession of knives. “The law already prohibits the possession of offensive weapons in a public place, and the possession of knives in public without good reason or lawful authority, with the exception of a folding pocket knife with a blade not exceeding three inches. … A spokesperson for the Association of Chief Police Officers said: “ACPO supports any move to reduce the number of knife related incidents, however, it is important to consider the practicalities of enforcing such changes.”

Given my low opinion of and low expectations for Britain’s political class, I’m impressed that pocket knives are still legal. It’s probably just a matter of time before than changes. After that, the next step will be fingernail clippers.

And I’m glad that the ACPO person warned that there might be problems enforcing such a silly law.

But I fully expect to see that foolish proposal get enacted at some point. After all, this is the country where a women who was being threatened by thugs got in trouble with the police for brandishing a knife in her own home.

Nation Dying of Obesity Calls for Stricter Gun Control
May 30, 2014

New Study Finds That U.S. Obesity Rates Continue To ClimbAccording to a new poll released today most overweight Americans believe they are more likely to be killed by a gun than die of obesity.

The survey, conducted by TDC Opinion Research, asked 10,000 severely overweight Americans about their attitudes toward gun violence in the wake of the recent USCB mass shooting.

It found that 73 percent of end-stage diabetes patients listed gun violence as the biggest threat to their health and survival, while 12 percent listed cancer, 7 percent listed SARS and 5 percent listed Wilson's disease. Only 3 percent said they were likely to die from their obesity.

“The doctors say I only have six months to live, tops,” says Jack Pryor, a 48-year-old with type 2 diabetes from Bethlehem, Pa. “But the way things are going now, I’m probably going to get shot before then. We’ve got to do something about all these guns; they’re killing us.”

“I personally see 20 to 30 patients die every year from complications of diabetes and metabolic syndrome,” says Dr. Jack Ryan, chief of endocrinology at Jefferson Medical Center in Washington. “I’m tired of seeing good people die. I’m tired of telling children that they won’t ever see their mommies and daddies again. If only we could just get the guns off the street, maybe things would be different. ”

The United States averaged slightly less than 9,000 homicides by firearms in 2012, while estimates of Americans killed yearly by the obesity epidemic range from 100,000 to more than 300,000.

One study has found that 18 percent of all deaths in the United States are attributable to obesity, and most leading causes of death -- including heart disease and cancer -- have obesity as a risk factor.

Despite the grisly headlines, gun violence has been on the decline for several decades. Meanwhile the obesity epidemic is accelerating, with fully a third of Americans now considered medically obese.

Although most media analysts want the government to focus on the more emotive issue of gun ownership, some health experts have bizarrely suggested that public policy should focus on tackling problems that actually kill more people.

“I think liberals need to wake up and realize that if they’re interested in helping prevent premature deaths they should reform our food laws, not our gun laws,” says Jean Boudon, professor of medicine at Princeton University Medical School. “Soda kills more people than bullets do. It’s just that when someone dies of diabetes, it’s not breaking news on CNN.”

Maybe you consider me to be a GunHugger, but I don't.
I support the 2nd amendment, but I also support good gun laws.

Background checks for every gun sale, reasonable magazine capacity, ban assault rifles,
a data base for all guns in the USA tracking guns from manufacture to it's ultimate destruction,
all make sense to me.
