I smell another rat in the city.  Here’s something that needs an explanation.

Tonight is the council committee meeting.  The agenda has an item, simply written as:

“City lien 2522 Campbell Ave”

There is absolutely not one iota of back up information.  It will probably get on the “regular” meeting agenda, probably the “consent agenda” where that very well may be the only words written, again.   Thus the taxpayers will not be provided any details about what is going on with this, which is as McTHIEF wants it, no speakers on the swindling of the taxpayers.

We happened to turn on the committee meeting but were not really listening closely.  I however heard the words “discharge mortgage” and then I was hearing something about 2522 Campbell Ave and the owner can’t get financing for something without his mortgage on this house being discharged.

I had a hunch what that meant.

Sure enough, as usual, I was right.  The owner has a mortgage from the city, one of these no interest deals, no regular payments required.  No interest unless they default.   And notice the wording saying “Mortgagor can lose the property for failure to keep the promises in this note and mortgage”

See these images of excerpt from the mortgage.

Take notice of the 3rd image.   See where it says  "will pay all taxes......within (Thirty) 30 days after they are due."  And how about here is the EVIDENCE that he owner FAILED TO KEEP THE PROMISES  Check this out:

And this guy owns another property too:

It seems like the city is going to discharge this mortgage.  People who actually are homeowners know that when an owner pays off a mortgage, then the mortgage is discharged.  This seems like a request to get an UNPAID mortgage discharged, thus the city gave him $20,000 OF TAXPAYERS’ MONEY which probably is not paid back.

This property owner, with a mortgage of taxpayer money, is a TAX DELINQUENT and the dems want to discharge his mortgage because he is having problems getting other loans because he owes the city money.

But those who actually pay taxes to the city, pay on time, struggle, perhaps have to choose between paying taxes or buying prescriptions, are cited with violations of various things and ordered to repair within 30 days.

So, DV, tell us, is the city going to issue interest-free mortgages with no repayment schedule to the people who have code violations, and then the mortgage will be discharged upon request without any repayment?

ROFL, DV is PRETENDING to have us ignore, but those of us who have intelligence know that’s only his cop-out excuse when EVIDENCE proving his fairy tales and it leaves him speechless.   DV will NOT answer that question

Quoted from Madam X

It's been a Potemkin City for decades.  There is no real private investment.  The entire commercial economy is funded by city residents, either directly through grants and tax exemptions, or indirectly through the metroplex bond.  The nickels and dimes taken from the poor and middle class residents are adding up and crushing homeowners.  The city government  will get even more money when the poor and desperate go and blow whatever money they have left on a dream of hitting it big at the casino.

I can't afford to pay for the repair of my concrete steps, I'll go to the casino and play the slot machines in hopes of winning and paying for the mandated repair.
