Plans for the condominiums, apartments and retail to be located at Mohawk Harbor are coming before the city planning commission.   They look great.   Mohawk Harbor will look awesome and be a great benefit to the City-County of Schenectady.

I'm sure it will look great, but who in their right mind will rent the apartments at the premium prices when it sits on toxic land?...land so toxic EVEN the engineers have said some areas should not be inhabited and the ones that are will still have residual toxicity...
I value my health, thank you...

Ha ha Joe  Yep, that picture is definitely DV, the chicken who will not address the EVIDENCE when he is proven wrong

That area might end up looking pretty.

But at what cost to the taxpayers, and THAT is what DV will NEVER address.   He claims this great benefit to the city and county.  But does that mean the city and county taxpayers?   Or the city and county politicians and their political cronies?   A true brown-noser.

Downtown looks clean and pretty, all new brick and mortar, so much at taxpayer expense.  All this taxpayer money (forced investment) put into downtown, what has been the return?

So many times DV says this is "economic development" and, without saying the exact words of "spending of taxpayers' money" he says all this spending will increase the tax base.

But despite all the wild, uncontrolled spending of the taxpayers' money, all the taxpayer money poured into downtown and what has been the result?   Pretty new or remodeled brick and mortar, the filthy rich property owners collecting their money, what do the taxpayers get?  Higher taxes and falling property values.  City tax base falling.

Even the brand new or remodeled, largely taxpayer funded, downtown buildings are falling in value.

So here is DV, bragging about the brick and mortar, claiming it's going to be of this great benefit, but this cowardly cuckoo DV avoids comment on the EVIDENCE.  He should address the falling tax base, he should address the non-stop increasing taxes, he should address the reduction in essential services to the taxpayers.   But, when one is not a taxpayer, one does not understand.

The reality is most people have have very little regard for toxic behavior. Even though there are warnings everywhere most men keep their cell phones in their front or back pocket - continuously microwaving their gonads and culo.

I have serious doubts as to whether this will ever come to pass. Lyin' Brian had grandiose plans for that area, remember, I heard a lot about how great the townhomes "will" look, what townhomes?
Because this time the Governor is involved, it's a sure thing? The Governor is involved in a lot, right now. I wouldn't count my chickens before they're hatched. A plan is a drawing of an imaginary object.
Speaking of chickens, am I missing something? Someone runs a cartoon of a chicken, and that cancels out any argument? I guess they showed you, M/C.

Not quite

and be a great benefit to the City-County of Schenectady.

What will be the benefit?

Evidence has proven that the existing projects downtown have caused massive reduction in the tax base, falling property values, reductions to essential city services, and higher taxes.

Just like the rest of the projects "look" nice, clean, neat, pretty, awesome, new," they have NOT benefitted the city or the county.

And so too, the "look" of this one will NOT benefit the city and county.  it will just do what the rest of the projects did.

CHEER CHEER RAH RAH   Continue the massive reduction in the tax base of the city, more people lose their homes, and a growing ghost town.

Sorry you're not up to speed on the representation...speaks volumes about the reference!
Don't feel bad....apparently they didn't grasp it either!

Oh, I quite understand the Chicken Little reference. The part that concerns me is that a grown man thinks he's made some kind of a point by name-calling via cartoon. It seems like something a twelve-year-old boy would do.

Maybe you should pay attention to your own attitude and how you have addressed people rather than feeling
so superior as to be critical of others!  Oh, and if you pay attention to threads, you would notice that the reference
has been used by others, also! Sorry you feel so high and mighty, when you are far from above it all.
