A stabbing last night (night of 4/13)

What is this now, either a shooting or a stabbing every day for the past week or so.

Cheerleaders can't speak about it, they hide in disgrace.

But seriously, this mayor better force his police chief to live IN the city and pay the taxes.   Secondly, the mayor and his buddies better start ignoring downtown and start paying attention to the neighborhoods, where the people, where the taxpayers live.  But this is an election year, they will be catering to their cronies, their millionaires, in order to get their political donations

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

Morally, he should, but why would he practically?

Voters in the city (and everywhere) are pretty ignorant when it comes to politics and the big picture.
They either pull the lever under the correct party (in this case, Dems) or they follow like sheep and vote the way their church, union, or favorite media host tells them to vote.
