Again read it! The letter said nothing about the change just the safety of it in relation to the traffic on the street.

RAH RAH CHEER CHEER, take off rose colored glasses you might see how ridiculously bright it is on State Street.

Quite frankly, you can file the letter in the circular file.  I read it once.  Don't agree with your position that it is too bright on State Street.  I think the new sign looks just great.  This topic is boring and I am moving on to more important matters.

It appears that you are missing the point here.....is this sign within dot regulations? Is it a potential safety issue?
THAT APPEARS TO BE WHAT THIS THREAD IS ABOUT.....no?
I don't have a horse in this race so I really don't give a crap.
HOWEVER....this appears to be about 'safety'.

No. I am not missing the point.  In my opinion, the sign is perfectly safe.

An opinion from someone who obviously does not drive through downtown to see the super bright lights  that were NEVER in all of the history of Proctors, a part of marquee as far as the names of the shows.

But, regardless, bumble asked if those lights met government regulations.

You are though because DOT regulations aren't based on your opinion. Either the sign complies or it doesn't. It doesn't have anything to do with anyone's opinions.

DV, how about you provide a link online to these DOT regulations and show us the difference between the facts and your personal opinion.
