No one is speechless. Everyone just thinks you are nuts and are bored by your sniveling and ranting.

Really?  It's obvious now that many people have spoken about this

Obviously YOU are the one who is nuts because YOU think the city is improving when the FACT is, the TRUTH is that the mayor IS LYING, and the FACT is that home sales are FALLING, that home sale prices are FALLING, that property values are FALLING which means the city's tax base is FALLING, and the homes in the taxpayer funded home selling program have NOT as the mayor claims.  The mayor claims "almost 100%" have sold and the EVIDENCE will show that the mayor is FULL OF sh*t.

DV, are YOU willing to discuss the mayor's lies?   Are you?   No, YOU are the one, THE ONLY ONE who is speechless on this issue because it proves that YOU are WRONG when you say the mayor and his team are doing a wonderful job in the city.

So, DV, what do you have to say about the mayor's lying about this program?   Speechless, huh?   Or are you going to spew your usual "yawn" or some nonsense babble?

Quoted from LostResident

While i am not favoring any side of the argument, if you have seen the inside of that home (1700 Guilderland)you would understand that it is not even worth $60,000.  FACT  ;

I can pretty much understand that when enlarging the photos.

Mayor says city can't afford a reassessment, what he means is his political future can't afford one.

Full reassessment would send the city into full bankruptcy.

It doesn't matter what the truth is to the nayboobs.  The insane hatred of these terrorists have blinded them to reality.

The factual reality is that there are places in the city that are improving - well at least one place.

However the rest of the city is failing miserably.

An example being massive unfixed potholes that remain in place for weeks.  Do you really think city employees do not know about some of these, like on Brandywine avenue?

Do no public works employees ever drive that, or police cars...  Or even people calling it in?  (To be fair, I have not called them in either, because I know that I'd really have to send a registered letter in order to document it for anyone that actually has damage done, and I just know where they are and have been avoiding them..  But I find it incomprehensible that the city isn't aware of the major problem areas.)

My assumption is that public works employees are not fixing potholes right now because they are too busy clearing snow that our inept mayor decided he'd rather spend OT on removing than preventing with a snow emergency.

This February had the 5th most snow on record - in well over 100 years.  Our emperor fiddles...

Yep, you are the one who is blinded to reality.   And the EVIDENCE that YOU are the one who is blinded to reality is your constant refusal to discus the FACTS, the TRUTHS.

You have NEVER commented when the actual numbers direct from assessment rolls proving the falling tax base is presented

You have NEVER commented when the proof has been presented direct from official records on the favored who have gotten no interest mortgages from the city with no end date to the mortgage, no regular payment schedule, and no action by the city to take away their homes when they fail to meet their obligations to pay taxes (as documented in the mortgage).

And have NEVER commented about the tax delinquencies of the mayor's political cronies, delinquencies that were first reported here, on these boards, and just finally came out in the newspaper.

You have NEVER commented on how a political crony of the mayor, a woman who is rather the head real estate agent of the mayor HOMES program, has been appointed to the board of assessment when that appointment is CLEARLY A CONFLICT OF INTEREST, is herself, along with her metroplex architect husband,  a tax deadbeat, AND the FACT that the pair ILLEGALLY STOLD from the taxpayers by double dipping on the STAR exemption.

See, DV, WE are the ones who know what the truth is AND we have provided the EVIDENCE.  Proves that YOU are the one blinded to reality.

DV, do you have even one teeny weeny shred of EVIDENCE to prove that what I write is not the truth?   Obviously you don't have any evidence.

Seems to me if any of the public works employees including police actually cared about the safety of the motoring public, they would make a note of the
road condition and report it. Cut down thru the park tonight off of Fehr over to Bradley. Horrible road condition.

Despite the sniveling and whining of the nayboobs - people are investing in Schenectady by buying homes, opening businesses and investing in new development or redevelopment projects.  The nayboobs call anything that doesn't conform to their distorted and eternally negative view a reality a lie.
All the while, the GOOD, HARD-WORKING, POSITIVE THINKING people (who actually LOVE their community)  of the City-County of Schenectady keep moving forward and making their community a better place to live, work and enjoy life.  The RENAISSANCE continues.

And your evidence is??????????    Well?????   Can you produce your evidence?   Oh, that's right, you don't have any.

Sure, there are some opening businesses -- the ones who pay very very very little or no taxes, i.e., the rich political cronies for whom the city/co/plex leadership have given huge exemptions to.

And some are buying homes -- subsidized with taxpayer money!

Sooooooooooooo, DV, when are YOU going to "invest" in the city and buy a house??????   You've been bragging for several years, claiming the city is in a great renaissance, it's improving, blah blah blah, but in all those years you won't dare buy a house IN the city.  You won't even rent in the city.

DV, you have proven a gazillion times over that you want no part whatsoever of living IN the city!

...

Why did you copy and paste your own post?

Do you have some evidence to support your comment?

This thread is supposed to be about the BIG FAT LIE told by your beloved mayor when he stated that "almost 100%" of the houses in his taxpayer funded homes program have sold.  Why do you refuse to discuss that LIE?

Yeah, the city of Schenectady - the city you claim is oh so good, a city that you want absolutely NOTHING to do with, a city YOU absolutely will not invest in by buying a house, a city YOU absolutely will not live in by renting, a city YOU absolutely will not invest one penny in yourself and you won't even put your pinky toe into.

Open your eyes DV, see the TRUTH, see the FACTS, see the EVIDENCE.
