The head of the Republican National Committee, responding to demands from increasingly worried party leaders, spent nearly an hour Wednesday on the phone with Donald Trump, urging the presidential candidate to tone down his inflammatory comments about immigration that have infuriated a key election constituency.
The call from Chairman Reince Priebus, described by donors and consultants briefed on the conversation and confirmed by the RNC, underscores the extent to which Trump has gone from an embarrassment to a cause for serious alarm among top Republicans in Washington and nationwide.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are currently 6.5 million individuals working in part-time jobs who would prefer full-time employment, while 19 million Americans work in part-time jobs for non-economic reasons.
But for the over 109 million Americans in full-time jobs, work weeks often are longer than the 40-hour standard. According to a Gallup poll conducted last year, full-time employees reported working an average of 47 hours a week.

I just read article where GWB was speaker at a veterans organization for injured/wounded/etc. veterans. He charged them $100,000 speaking fee and $20k for a private jet. His wife was I attendance also to receive an award or her efforts, and she charged them $50,000 to give a acceptance speech! The article interviewed some of the veterans who didn't know they were paid to speak. (paraphrase) He's the a**hole that sent us to war. Charging a fee is just another slap in our face!
JUST BECAUSE SISSY SAYS SO DOESN'T MAKE IT SO...BUT HE THINKS IT DOES!!!!! JUST BECAUSE MC1 SAYS SO DOESN'T MAKE IT SO!!!!!

Those are extremely principled veterans. Not upset that they attended an event presented by an organization that invited the a**hole that sent them to war, just upset that he was paid. AND...Not upset at the veterans organization that spent $150K for speaking fees to this a**hole, instead of using the money to help veterans.
These veterans seem to slap themselves in the face.
I think George W. Bush said it best: There's an old saying in Tennessee - I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee - that says, fool me once, shame on - shame on you. Fool me - you can't get fooled again

As usual you just focus on one point without bothering to investigate the whole issue. I only pointed out on thing from the interview...try finding out all the information before you open your mouth and make unfounded assumptions. You remain an unprincipled predictable one trick poster...

I focused on the info you provided and the point YOU focused on The fact you brought up was about veterans showing up to an event Bush was speaking at, and there gripe wasn't that he was speaking to the veterans he sent into a war based on a lie, but rather because the veterans organization paid him. And your post doesn't make it sound as they were pissed because the veterans organization paid him, but rather because Bush charged a fee.

George W Bush should return the speaking fees. Then a Special Prosecutor should be named to investigate the millions of dollars in speaking fees and donations given to the Clintons and the Clinton Foundation in exchange for favors from Hilary when she served as Secretary of State.
