They have a county presence don't they? It's not a big county. Their solution is the same as the Democrats --- give away tax money and tax exemptions to businesses willing to open in the City.
There is only one Rep on the county, and he is Glenville. So when the dems vote yes to give away the tax dollars to Galesi and all the other political cronies of the dem party, a "no" vote from a Rep is not going to matter.
Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

My point is, there is a County GOP Committee. They are supposed to be the organized opposition to the Democrats. Where are they? I know they don't hold office, but where are their voices on the issues of crime and economic policies? No op ed's? No press releases? They have access to the press. What are they doing to mobilize political opposition?
