How far into it? unfortunately don't have time to watch, nor do I want to view this whole thing.

I notice that the 'poor overtaxed victim residents', as mc1 calls them, are all at this meeting with pitchforks in hand, huh? (tic)

they are GANGSTERS in suits instead of pants hanging down showing boxers....both types of gangs drive cadillac escalades....

drug dealers vs corporate welfare dealers

no wonder there was voting apathy......the danger is in the apathy....the only thing is that it's not really apathy it's a festering sore

Part apathy and part the mayor and his GANG are LYING over and over and over and over and over and over, etc.

At bout 48:05, Riggi speaks about an armed robbery on Crane St and he mentions how there was nothing in the news.   Of course, the mayor keeps these the TRUTHS out of the news.   Hush Hush.

Riggi, again, the ONLY ONE true representative of the TAXPAYERS speaks the truth.  Between the armed robbery and subsequent--and in my words--"cover-up by the mayor and his dem team in preventing this from being in the news," to the LIES in the dem party campaign stuff about Riggi being opposed to that loan, (I trust all of us who have intelligence on these boards have seen that flyer), Riggi FACTUALLY AND 1,000% TRUTHFULLLY spoke that the PUBLIC HAS A RIGHT TO NOW.

Look how the mayor and his "doing wonderful" team are lying and not allowing the public to know the truth:

-- Refusing to inform homeowners that their assessment should be equal to what the sale price of the houses would be
-- Refusing to inform the residents of the truth about the failing home sale program
-- Refusing to clearly explain to homeowners that they are paying for the taxes of millionaires and billionaires downtown.
-- Refusing to clearly explain to homeowners that they are paying the bill to demo a building owned by a multi-billionaire (the old DSS building)
-- Refusing to clearly explain to the people that the cost of the demos is NOT a federal grant but a loan that taxpayers must pay back with interest.
-- Keeps many bigger crime incidents a big secret (especially if they occur at the taxpayer funded downtown locations like the incident at the tax exempt, taxpayer paid Galesi owned Bow Tie.
-- Refused to publish the list of foreclosures (a list which included their political cronies) in the newspaper in accordance with state law.

I have to say however, that when Riggi was talking, I think about the dogs, he was saying something about the lack of maintenance of the city's website and he suggested the city has a facebook page which apparently does not need any computer knowledge to keep up.  A friend of ours told us that the city has a facebook page and a home selling page but that people post questions and the city never answers.   Naturally, the city REFUSES to respond in public to the people.

speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

I don't believe it's apathy anymore.  It's outright refusal to legitimize legal criminal behavior.  Anarchist are no longer ideological youth wearing Guy Fawkes masks openly protesting the government.  They are wearing white collars running businesses and fully understand how to best affect the government - ignore it to the point of illegitimacy.

I agree....I use the term apathy because it's the only word rings true to those who think they are the only legitimate leaders
and they will continue to 'scramble' for votes without results......

What kind of slug makes a sick joke like that in public? Mr. Riggi is a respected member of the community. It is quite revealing, actually, because if someone feels animosity towards an honest man uncovering the truth, that person has something to be ashamed of, something he wants to keep hidden from the public.

Exactly.   Let's see what supporters of the mayor, dem council members, and plex will say about this.   And I don't think this made it to the news

BTW, the people in Liberia doing Ebola research are heroic, they aren't leeches living off the hard-earned money of others.

I would say this is a reason no one voted....being bullied into voting by wishing one dead is bad leadership.....

like I said apathy is more dangerous than voting.......

Schenectady did a grand job of making 2 separate entities of rich/poor...gangsters/plebs

Ray Gillen should resign or be forced out for such a nasty discriminatory comment. The local media is so afraid of the DEMS that they don't report or publish the nasty acts. The media and public must live in fear of the DEMOCRATIC MACHINE! Vince is an outstanding honest public figure! #SCHENECTADY LOVES VINCE

Riggi needs to do more of this.  He is such a minority on the council, he needs to grandstand any chance he gets, and say even more controversial things, in hopes of getting it published in the media.  He is in no position to play politics with the democrats, they don't have to compromise with him.
