I don't see what the officer did wrong, besides- you don't know how much these two kids pushed his buttons before the camera was rolling. Then they put on an act to be all sweet and nice. Besides WHY were they driving with a gun in the car and WHY were they dressed in dark clothes?

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Not just any gun...It was a 22.  The squirrels and rabbits of Saratoga County were in danger.

Saratoga should have required $10 million dollar malpractice insurance as ab job requirement after they had to pay the $6 million settlement on behalf of Glans.

Saratoga County residents will be on the jury when he gets sued again.

What good is making the county pay for bad cops?

The money comes out of their own taxpaying pockets.

Absolutely all police officers should be required to have malpractice insurance and all settlements must be made public.

It is common practice to award giant settlements to victims with the condition that they cannot allow the settlement amount to be made public.

Hushing up the settlement amounts, and the counties covering the cost of the awards, does not address the issue of police abuse.

It simply hides it from public view.

As the costs are simply passed on to the taxpayers.

And often the cops don't even live where they work.

Where are the other cops?

Why does no one come forward and denounce their coworker bad cops?

Why don't they state that this behavior is unacceptable, and they want no part of these types of actions?

They just stand next to the bad cops and do nothing.

Due process is why.

People's rights aren't just an obstacle to be worked around using physical force or intimidation.

I don't know...Anybody with a 22 rifle in the back seat of their car is a threat.  They could be the "next Adam Lanza".  Seeing how everybody with a gun is a potential Adam Lanza.  This cop was following the proper protocol of - the perp "could be Adam Lanza" probable cause.

People should not have guns in their cars. NOR should they be going around dressed in dark clothes.

Someone posted on Facebook that Glans was one of the 6 cops involved in the beating/tasered death of the man in Ballston Spa last month.

This kind of cop thuggery is being played out ALL OVER THE COUNTRY!!

There is incident after incident just like this one....some worse.....going on ALL over the country and are all over the internet!!! And i'm not saying that all cops are bastards!!! But there are more and more and more that are! We know someone that was stopped TWICE and harassed by cops for going thru a stop sign THAT WASN'T EVEN THERE!!! This person just kept their mouth shut when stopped cause they KNEW that if they disputed the fact that there was no stop...the cop would have called for back up and would have slapped on the cuffs! Sad ain't it?

Many have been curious about when the determination of that incident will be forthcoming.

this cop will have no choice but to resign and/or get fired.

or else he will have to be looking over his shoulder constantly....he's marked!!!!

these thug cops....and there are MANY of them....are making it unsafe for EVERY COP out there.....bastards or not!

If you read the posted story they had purchased the gun earlier in the day, that is why it was in the car. They were stupid for leaving it there and in plain sight but they did nothing wrong by purchasing a rifle and putting it in their car.

With your train of thought I guess I should go home and throw out any black clothes I have so that I don't look like a bad guy. No more black/dark suit for me I guess I will have to look for new white ones. Is dark blue OK with you? What about my black knit winter caps if I don't shave for a day or two my kids say I look mean, and of course must be up to no good, right?

You must cringe when someone on a Harley pulls up next to you at a light, all black and scary looking. Must be sad going through life with such a tainted view of others and their outward appearance.

They could be the next Adam Lanza.  Better safe than sorry.

Or as in Fergusen, you should go out dressed in dark skin.

I was going to mention the darker complexion, but thought I would leave the race card out of the discussion. That's a whole different level of narrow-mindedness.
