What was the 'secret ingredient' that handed the GOP the 2014 victory???
(Racism of Course)

Quoted Text

The Ku Klux Klan played an active and enduring role in steering southern white voters away
from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party, according to a new study.
“It encouraged white voters to prioritize the defense of white supremacy when making voting
decisions, upending long-standing Democratic Party allegiances."

Analysis of voting outcomes of five presidential elections between 1960 and 2000 showed a
statistically significant increase in GOP voting compared to counties with no established KKK
chapter, even after filtering out a range of other factors that could influence voting preferences.

“The Klan played an active role in encouraging white southerners to prioritize white supremacy
over party loyalty.”

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

With a membership of 5,000 throughout the country I doubt they had much of a impact, or to put it in another way Code Pink has a bigger role in the elections

Box, isn't that what you want-voter participation?  How else can you push your warped views into everybody, without using the force of the state?  The KKK are just exercising their civic duties.  They are better than those anti government crazies - they don't even vote.

The KKK used their influence to convert Conservative Democrats into Conservative Republicans.
For their target audience, racism works.

remembering war 'heroes' in a very bizarre way....kill/maime the youth to create the state....the war machine makes the state
not the NRA....the NRA is small beans compared to tanks/guns used by the military.

I'm sure Obama and his justice department are preparing the war crime charges as we type.  Because it's about justice!

Politico: “Mitt Romney promised to bring unemployment down to 6 percent in his first term; it’s already down to 5.8 percent,
half the struggling eurozone’s rate. Newt Gingrich promised $2.50 gas; it’s down to $2.38. Crime, abortion, teen pregnancy
and oil imports are also way down, while renewable power is way up and the American auto industry is booming again. You
don’t have to give credit to President Barack Obama for ‘America’s resurgence,’ as he has started calling it, but there’s
overwhelming evidence the resurgence is real. The Chicken Littles who predicted a double-dip recession, runaway interest rates,
Zimbabwe-style inflation, a Greece-style debt crisis, skyrocketing energy prices, health insurance “death spirals” and
other horrors have been reliably wrong.”

“Come to think of it, the 62 percent of Americans who described the economy as ‘poor’ in a CNN poll a week before the
Republican landslide in the midterm elections were also wrong.”

Don't believe your own life experiences, everything is peaches and cream because Politico said so LMAO. Unemployment numbers are not representing the underemployed which everyone left and right agree on. Where is gas $2.38 I must have missed that. Crime has been going down for years in fact since 1994. Abortion is down due to the shift in belief of pro-life stances. As far as a double dip recession most believe we never came out of the 1st one.
