Quoted from Box A Rox
“Strikingly, Congress and Republicans haven’t seen their numbers go up.
Just 16% approve of Congress’ job (unchanged since December), and only 23% approve of the job congressional
Republicans are doing.

“And then there are the parties’ fav/unfav numbers. The public gives the GOP a 25%-46% rating, down from 30%-45% a month ago.
By comparison, Democrats are at 35%-38%, when they were at 37%-39% in December.
Bottom line: You can hardly tell from our NBC/WSJ poll that the Republican Party was the big winner from the midterm
elections just two months ago.
Somehow, Obama and the Democrats stole the Republicans’ post-election honeymoon. Or the Republicans somehow lost it.”

"Approval ratings go up and down for various reasons... An example is the high post 911 support for
GWB even though he could be said to be responsible for the event." --- Box A Rox '9/11 Truther'

States with more people in prison than in college.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Are you sure that's not a picture of a bridge in Libya that Obama bombed?

Tea Party wants to stop the federal government from blowing up other countries bridges to build US bridges.  The psychopath statists will never stop blowing up other countries infrastrucure...It's Un-American!

That looks a lot like the battle lines of the civil war.

If they don't join you based on the 'invitation' then jail them using all the legislative power you can muster....I'm not so sure that
college education can be held to a higher standard than jail today....college loans aren't any different than living on a chain gang.....

4 walls with the same outcome....just labeled differently...blue collar/white collar....all politicians have been to college and yet,,,,
they are not in jail, they get the 'get out of jail free' card......not to mention most politicians are CEO/lawyers 'do-gooders'....hahahaha

does anyone else find this a magical potion of poison?

Quoted Text
New blood joins this earth
And quickly he's subdued
Through constant pain disgrace
The young boy learns their rules
With time the child draws in
This whipping boy done wrong
Deprived of all his thoughts
The young man struggles on and on he's known
A vow unto his own
That never from this day
His will they'll take away

What I've felt
What I've known
Never shined through in what I've shown
Never be
Never see
Won't see what might have been
What I've felt
What I've known
Never shined through in what I've shown
Never free
Never me
So I dub thee unforgiven

They dedicate their lives
To running all of his
He tries to please them all
This bitter man he is
Throughout his life the same
He's battled constantly
This fight he cannot win
A tired man they see no longer cares
The old man then prepares
To die regretfully
That old man here is me

What I've felt
What I've known
Never shined through in what I've shown
Never be
Never see
Won't see what might have been
What I've felt
What I've known
Never shined through in what I've shown
Never free
Never me
So I dub thee unforgiven

You labeled me
I'll label you
So I dub thee unforgiven

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Really?  How does 1% figure into:
Increase tax on wealthiest
Free 2 yr college
Invest in health care reform, scientific research,
and the ailing infrastructure
Invest more in education
Government regulation of cronyism
Promote economic growth and independence from foreign resources

Those appear to be points I recall over last 6 years.  How is that giving
everything to the 1%?

Is it successful?  NO. Is it possible...YES!  Will it happen....
not with the REPS in control unless they start caring about the
American public instead of only themselves.

Savings rates have been practically zero for the past 6 years.  The poor and middle classes have no place to save their money, they are putting their money into the casino called the stock market to keep up with inflation in an attempt to keep their current standard of living.  It isn't working.  Wall St is getting all the money from the bottom up, as well as the cheap money from the top down, but the money flowing into Wall Street  isn't trickling down for the 99% in terms of pay.

Inflation is up, I really don't care what government reports say.  I bought a bag of white grapes that ended up costing $10, and the small cans of campbell's chicken noodle soup were $1.99  - I nearly stroked.  For a bag of grapes and a can a soup, the minimum wage worker has to work over 1 hour just to pay for it. Even if you are getting paid $12 per hour, it isn't much better.

All the free education, infrastructure and science research investment, or increased taxes on the wealthiest isn't going to do anything to correct the day-to-day economic reality for the 99%.

And as for your claim that Obama's policies were not successful of redistributing the wealth, but it is possible, just not with REPS in control - how do you know that?  Obama's policies resulted in the largest gap between the rich and middle class, and rich and poor in US history.  GW Bush's tax cut policy actually increased the wealth of both the middle class and the poor.  It would seem that this targeted redistribution of the wealth that Obama practices doesn't work.  It only makes for good political rhetoric.
