I think Michael McDermott is supported by the people that answers the pollsters first question of 'likelihood to vote' with "Not Likely or Definitely Not". I received two calls from pollsters, and when I answered definitely not voting, the automated voice informed me that I was not eligible to answer the poll questions. I want to see the statistics for people that answered 'not likely or definitely not voting'. |

So Cicero is declaring that McDermott will win the 'non vote' for governor. Congratulations!!! |

So Norway uses the money they steal to fund their charade to legitimize stealing their money? That is brilliant! |

I don't have a problem getting corporations out of politics. But declaring that the taxpayers must pay for advertising is not a solution. The candidates would simply funnel the funds to themselves or use proxies to donate it to themselves. How about the old fashioned way where candidates use their own money. It should be illegal to contribute money to any candidate. That's called bribery in the real world. |

If you vote for a representative who promises to use your tax dollars for a specific purpose, and he does just that... Cicero calls it STEALING. The rest of us call it good govt. For Cissy there is no such thing as Good govt. |

Well...First the representative writes the law to take your money. Then he/she makes promises on how they will spend it. The great unknown is what is Norway's method of distributing the money to candidates and to what candidates. Does the non-parliamentary Red Communist Party in Norway get as much money as the parliamentary Labour and Conservative Party? Who decides the parlamentary parties? |
