Thanks for one guy's opinion.  I can go back in history and quote justices that said Jim Crow Laws were constitutional.  Heck!  I can go state to state and show you that voting rights can be abridged too!  Imagine That!

Yes that's where we were, and now we have moved forward.  It's called PROGRESS

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Vote if you want, I guess its easier to live life thinking you have a voice in the way our government acts

Had Henry and his fellow GunHuggers voted for "horselover" Carl Paladino in 2014, he wouldn't have
to deal with the SAFE ACT today.  But since Henry doesn't want a 'voice in his govt'... please Henry...
don't vote.  Leave it to us involved citizens.

I love the fact you think people are obeying the SAFE ACT, newsflash box nobody is obeying it, nobody turned in their hi-cap mags, nobody registered their assault rifles. But like I said keep believing you have a voice and that people will obey unconstitutional laws, I see you haven't been out much in the gun community

~ There have been 2,086 arrests and arraignments related to the Safe Act.  Many of these offenses were illegal before
the SAFE ACT but now are prosecuted as felonies.
~ During the act's first 14 months, 1,899 arrests or arraignments were for criminal possession of a firearm,
an E felony.  Before the Safe Act, this behavior was a misdemeanor charge called fourth-degree
criminal possession of a weapon.
~ 35 were charged with criminal purchase or disposal of a weapon, often called a "straw purchase."
This is a D felony.
~ 32 were charged with criminal possession of a weapon on school grounds; this crime used to be a
misdemeanor.

Lol!  She voted!  Did she vote for one candidate, only to have the voting machine cast it for another?LMAO.

Let me guess.  When the voting machines are rigged, you vote in the next election for the candidate that promises not to rig the machines.

VOTING-THE OPIATE FOR THE MASSES.

Unless you are a gun control activist that helped ram through this stupid law. Then you get the felonies dropped.

A misdemeanor dropped, maybe but not likely for a felony.

So what. They were charged just the same whether the SAFE Act was active or not. So they *might* get slightly longer jail time....Big deal.

Boxy, the hypocrisy of the left knows no bounds and follows the creed 'Rules for Thee but not for Me'.....Corruption is at it's heart.

The SAFE Act was (lol) to "save the children"....Rammed through the system in the wake of Sandy Hook ....If you bring a gun onto school grounds, you might as well be nailed to the cross next to Jesus.

That is, of course, you are a good little lefty 'community activist' that was one of the faces getting these draconian laws passed. Then you get to use the excuse "Ahh FoRgot Ah hadd Uhhhh TeC-9 Ynn Mah POcKeT,, oFFicEr" (Translation: "I forgot I had a gun in my pocket, officer" )

Quoted Text
BUFFALO, NY – Dwayne Ferguson, the leader of the anti-violence organization Mad Dads, pleaded not guilty Friday in connection with an incident that forced a city school into lockdown for several hours Thursday.

Buffalo Police Department Spokesman Mike DeGeorge said Thursday night that police arrested Ferguson, 52, of Buffalo, in connection with the lockdown at Harvey Austin Elementary School earlier in the day. Ferguson was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, including having a loaded weapon on school grounds.

Ferguson is the President of the local chapter of Mad Dads, an organization that works with at risk youth.

Police say Ferguson was in possession of a handgun inside the school. An anonymous call to the school office reporting a man with a gun on school grounds is what prompted the lockdown and subsequent search.

Despite a request by prosecutors, who asked for bail to be set at $10,000, City Court Judge Jeanette Ogden released the activist on his own recognizance, citing his community involvement and the fact that Ferguson has no prior run-ins with the law. The judge did, however, order him to turn in all of his weapons and to stay away from the school until the case is resolved.

Released on his own recognizance? Pled 'not guilty'?.....How can a judge be so irresponsible and even worse, how come Dwayne didn't plead 'guilty' if he believed so much in the SAFE Act?....Why does Dwayne even need to carry a gun?

I know Boxy would have asked for no bail and asked for the max. sentence for himself for doing such a heinous act, as well as give up all his guns for life.

Anyway, that was back in Feb. So what happened? Dwayne was found guilty, has the stigma of a felony conviction on his head for life, banned from all school properties, and went to prison.....Well, that's what should have happened.

Instead Dwayne pleads guilty, cries like a little b!tch for leniency, the leftist activist judge give him the *wink wink*, and drops the two felony charges. Dwayne is then given the harsh sentence of 100 hours of 'community service' (Hey, did I mention he was a community activist?) and a stern talking to by the judge saying that he'll pin those felonies back on if he gets into any more trouble.

Quoted Text
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – An anti-violence activist caught carrying a firearm into an elementary school in February has been given a conditional discharge.

A judge says if Dwayne Ferguson completes 100 hours of community service and stays out of trouble, he will not face more serious charges possessing a firearm on schools grounds.

I know you would have done the right thing, Boxy.
