Funding is imperative. How else can a candidate pay for all the slanderous and anonymous mailers about his/her opponent that clutter our mailboxes and litter the town?
yes...elections are NEVER about qualifications...They are about reputations...Who is more effective at destroying their opponents reputation. What are Amedore or Tkaczyk's qualifications? Good at paying for smear ads? |

they are a bunch of idiots....unfortunately we have come to a place where politicians or anyone who really wants to do something

I find it embarrassing that any one of these fools plays like that....they listen to their campaign jesters who play the public.....

clip art of him riding a horse or playing a guitar....

Amedore is well qualified to be a State Senator and the fact that he will actually represent US and not the NYC special interest lobbyists is also a major plus that he has going for him.
As for Mike's resignation from the Town Board, I think that it is a great loss to the town. IMHO, he was one of those RARE sincere and straightforward persons (in my lifetime) to ever run for and be elected to the Rotterdam Town Board. He truly wanted to do what was right and best for the residents of the town. It was a pleasure to work on his campaign and get to know him and his family. I wish all the best and hope that he makes another run in the future for town office. |
